Bottle, 07/24/2014. Pours clear golden amber, large frothy head with great retention. Aroma is pineapple and orange zest, opening to earthy pine and grass, spicy yeast. Taste is pine with citrus overtones, slight acidity and tartness though not overly noticeable, peach and melon sweetness with lingering bitterness. Medium body, silky carbonation. Was expecting a tad more brett but this turned out quite nice nonetheless.

Bottle. Moderate hay for the malt, moderate to heavy grass and pine for the hops, moderate earth and musty for the yeast, with notes of wood and coriander. Head is huge, fizzy/frothy, slightly off-white with good crusty lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is murky, medium amber. Flavor starts moderately to heavily acidic, then finishes moderately acidic and bitter. Palate is medium, creamy which is hidden a bit by the fizzy carbonation. Nice mix of smells and tastes, and a nice way to drop Brett into an IPA. Two of my favorites.

33 cl teku. Pours a generous white foamy head with nice lenght, orange/yellowish cloudy colour. Very nice pineapple, peach, grape sweet tropical, floral and yeasty slight funk aroma; you can defintely spot the wheat too. Tastes fresh fruits, grape citrus, wild yeast, with biscuity/pine smooth hops. A bit of sweetness, with perfectly mild bitter and noticeable tartness final component. Creamy texture, lively carbonation. As written on the back label, and because mine wasn’t for sure in the 3 first month freshness (prob 6), I could definitely pick the brett, sour, spicy evolving character. In my opinion seems a mix between an IPA and a saison (going from 1st to the 2nd). A really a nice, balanced crisp refreshing beer

Bottle. Not sure who brought this but thanks. Poured hazy orange red with some soapy lace. Smell and taste are piney and grapefruit hops, rustic pineapple brett, and other earthy tones. Good beer with a bitter, medium body finish.

bottle. Pours a very nice cloudy orange. Aroma is great. Immediate hops. Like a DIPA. Taste is hoppiness in the front. Get some brett in the back end. Very balanced overall. I really like it. Different than other pale ales. Drinks more like a IPA with a nice touch of brett in the back.

Bottle. Pours an orange with white head. Aroma us hoppy, citrus, tiny hint if funk. Taste is dry, light, mild hoppiness. Think the brett drys it out a bit. No real funkiness in the taste, but real easy drinker. I like it.

11.2 ounce bottle thanks to lukaduke. Poured into a snifter. Pours a mildly hazed copper with a big white head of foam that has very good retention. I get some spice, tropical fruit, funk, and ginger in the aroma. There’s quite a bit happening in this beer. The taste is softly tart, but mostly earthy and bitter with a touch of sweetness peeking through around the tartness. Medium bodied and medium carbonation. Nice beer.

Pours a clean orangey golden color with and a fluffy white foam. Nose is a mixture of horsehair, citrus pith, pine and lemon rind. The palate follows the nose nicely with some juicy hop presence that layers nicely into the brett forward peppery horseblanket presence. Clean malt profile with rustic grass, dry straw and nuances of orange and pine. Tasty.

Bottle from Tomlinson s beer shop. Served in tullip at 7c. Nice aroma, tangy, orange. White head dissipate quickly. Bitterness of the hop works well with sourness of Brett. Tang/bitter/hippy citrus aroma. Like to see more Brett ipas on scene. Good beer.

Davvero un’ottima birra, con un gusto intenso e complesso: note citriche e di mandarino pervasive, buona luppolatura avvolgente che si trascina fino a un buon amaro finale, un tocco acidulo. Wild beer non delude mai!
