2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Hazy yellow with a lasting white head. Aroma of citrus and grass with a light touch of onion. Dry and hoppy flavour, perhaps a little dusty. The whole back label (and the name) is spent explaining how it evolves over time, yet I failed to find the bottling date...

3.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
330ml bottle. Hazy/cloudy pale orange colour with a one-two finger frothy white head. Aroma is hoppy, lots of citrus orange and lemon, mango, slightly sour. Taste is tart fruity citrus, orange, mango, slightly sour flavours, yeast notes are there after the fruitiness but aren’t huge, slight floral, pine. Moderate bitter dry finish, fairly soft carbonation, oily texture.
Sidenote: Label suggests either drinking fresh (first 3 months) as a normal pale ale, or letting it mature for several more months so it develops more complex flavours. That’s cool, but perhaps they should print the bottling date so we have some idea of how fresh it is? This could have been sat on a shelf for a year already for all I know.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Keg BD Shepherds Bush. Pours slightly hazy gold . Lacy white head. Moderate carbonation . Not much aroma but subtle bread and pine. Dry dry dry taste which I liked but it doesn’t really open up or develop much. Still a refreshing dry beer on a roasting day.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Keg at Brewdog London. Hazy light gold colour. (Tip: hold it up in the light) What it lacks in smell, it delivers in taste. Immediate notes of pine with stone fruit settling in after. Bready and whole mouthfeel. Ruby grapefruit aftertaste.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Specialty Beer Cellar. Hazy orange, maybe a little dull in color. The head is gone quickly. Brett provides most of the brightness in the nose. The hops are earthy and herbal, with just a little bit of musty grapefruit. Tastes much brighter, again seemingly from the brett. The hops almost taste old. Brett lends a bit of tang also, like sour grapefruit. Earthy and spicy finish with a moderate bitterness. Medium light body. Better when it’s cold, as it becomes very grassy as it warms.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Smooth aromas of slightly sourish fruit. Clear pale straw color. Tart fruity initial, bitterness is minimal but somewhere there, gentle tart fruity finish. Thin body. Nice tartness. Brett doesn’t really stand out.
