We have a passion for flavour and a lust for hops — this frisky, fragrant pale ale is the result. Whilst consistency is (rightly) the benchmark of most beers, we’ve gone Wild with Fresh and thrown away the rulebook. Every six months we source some of the most exciting hops from both the northern and southern hemispheres, which means two hop harvests and two excitingly different hop profiles.
Given the unpredictability of each harvest we’ll leave it to you to discover the individual aromas and tastes, but you’ll be guaranteed a punchy hop character alongside an appetising bitterness and a crisp dry finish that will send you back for more. This is a beer we like to drink all through the year. We think you will too.
The first brew of Fresh has copious amounts of New Zealand hops in it. We particularly love the sherbet lemon aromas in the Southern Cross.

33cl bottle. Bbe 230315. Pours hazy amber, thick white head, lasting. Fruity, herbal aroma, some plastic notes as well as citrus coming later. Flavor has herbs, citrus fruits, hopjuice. Hoppy, dry, bitter. Could be fruitier. Needs more body. Refreshing stuff.

Keg in Tap East. Hazy yellow gold, served really really cold. But it’s bland. Doesn’t really taste of anything even after some desperate warming up manoeuvres. Some bitterness, but any hop freshness seems to have gone. Dunno if I’m in a funny mood here but seem to be picking a lot of crappy beers tonight!

33 cl bottle.
Pours hazy orange color with a large frothy head. Very fruity aroma with some tropical hints, floral hops and some sweet caramel also. Citric fruits and gooseberries on the flavor, some resinous hops and hop oils, mild hay notes. Very refreshing and fruity, a delight.

Bottle. Fresh melon and mango flavour leading to a dry finish. A decent drop but not exciting.

From a 330ml brown bottle (nicely packaged). Cloudy straw yellow pour with medium white head. Heaps of fresh hops on the nose with grapefruit, pineapple, oranges, resin and pine needles dominating. Palate is slick and sessionable with a substantial dry hop bitterness that lingers but does not overpower. Quite impressive. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle - Old - Lemon and skunk. Hazy gold with a decent head. Effervescent, bright flavors, light bitterness and a bit dusty. Fresh would likely be better.
