We have a passion for flavour and a lust for hops — this frisky, fragrant pale ale is the result. Whilst consistency is (rightly) the benchmark of most beers, we’ve gone Wild with Fresh and thrown away the rulebook. Every six months we source some of the most exciting hops from both the northern and southern hemispheres, which means two hop harvests and two excitingly different hop profiles.
Given the unpredictability of each harvest we’ll leave it to you to discover the individual aromas and tastes, but you’ll be guaranteed a punchy hop character alongside an appetising bitterness and a crisp dry finish that will send you back for more. This is a beer we like to drink all through the year. We think you will too. The first brew of Fresh has copious amounts of New Zealand hops in it. We particularly love the sherbet lemon aromas in the Southern Cross.

Citrus, fragrant, golden amber, cloudy, miminal white head, some lacing, low carbonation, quite a nice fruity refreshing beer. It was quite pleasant. Bottle at mouton rouge.

Bottle Rehills Newcastle. Lovely sherbert lemon aroma, initially dry and woody on the tongue, but this quickly mellows into a jammy, slightly grassy flavour. Delicate and hoppy in the finish, with blackcurrant late on, which lingers nicely. Really fine burnt gold colour, this is a cracking beer.

Bottle from Fyne Wines, Argyll. Golden orange colour with slight haze and brilliant-white head with long perseverance. Aromas of dried hops, almost over-ripe/browning fruit, some soft woodiness, cumin seed and dried pineapple. Very soft texture, like liquid-cotton, as if undergone malolactic fermentation; with very delicate flavours of salted white chocolate and maybe a hint of dried apricot. The oiliness of the bitter hops returns with force through the finish creating a very herbal end note. The 5.5% abv is almost unnoticeable making this very, very easy drinking; a lovely beer, just a bit shy on the palate.

330ml bottle from The Beerhive. Big frothy white head, nice little bit of lacing. Hazy golden body. Nose has straw, a little citrus and pine. Flavour is a good balance of sweet malt and bitter hops, grass and grapefruit with bubblegum on the finish. Good full mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Very refreshing and easy to drink. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

330 ml bottle, from the Norwegian importer. No brewing date or "best before" date on the bottle. ABV is 5.5%. Slightly hazy golden colour, large white head. Nice aroma of fruity / citrussy and herbal hops, a hint of dill. Citrussy and distinctly herbal / mildly spicy flavour, medium dry, with a nice bitterness in the finish and long aftertaste. Good beer. Would buy again.

In short: a citrusy bitter ale.
Pours quite clear bright gold, with nice whie head. Moderate head retention, some lacing. Light body, high carbonation, crispy texture. Taste is fruity, citrusy, mild bitter, some harsh mouthfell due to carbonation. Enjoyable anyway.
