We have a passion for flavour and a lust for hops — this frisky, fragrant pale ale is the result. Whilst consistency is (rightly) the benchmark of most beers, we’ve gone Wild with Fresh and thrown away the rulebook. Every six months we source some of the most exciting hops from both the northern and southern hemispheres, which means two hop harvests and two excitingly different hop profiles. Given the unpredictability of each harvest we’ll leave it to you to discover the individual aromas and tastes, but you’ll be guaranteed a punchy hop character alongside an appetising bitterness and a crisp dry finish that will send you back for more. This is a beer we like to drink all through the year. We think you will too. The first brew of Fresh has copious amounts of New Zealand hops in it. We particularly love the sherbet lemon aromas in the Southern Cross.

Cask conditioned handpump Lyric Soho London 03/05/13. A hazy blonde coloured beer with a bright white head. Another lovely hoppy beer. Great pale malt balance. Less citrussy tropical than the Tiny Rebel I had before this and the extra lick of alcohol is noticeable. Very tasty and drinkable again. Good stuff.

Cask, gravity at The Grapes, Oxford, Saturday 12th April 2014 Wonderfully floral hoppy beer a superb beer to drink alongside an equally stunning XT XPA both on cask gravity. Nice bittersweet bite, really lovely beer. Too lazy to do a good write up, but loved this. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Keg at Holyrood 9A. Had better versions of this. Fairly middling pale with usual characteristics present and correct. Little foamy in the mouthfeel , medium bitterness, some malt. Creamy bitter finish.

On cask at the Bow Bar. Appearance - golden orange with a nice head. Nose - fresh alright. Lots of mandarin. Taste - a bit more challenging. Burnt orange and some pithy bitterness. Palate - medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry finish. That said some sweetness does come along again and this takes away from the balance. Overall - nice interesting beer.

Cask at Leicester CAMRA Beer Festival 2014. Blonde ale with a citrus, indeed "fresh" aroma . Taste is quite strongly bitter but also very fruity - excellent balance with a ginger hoppiness.
