Crisp golden pours with a hint of sourness on the palate that while mild detracts from the beer. Floral citrus on the palate, but I feel this beer has not travelled well.

Keg at brewdog Shepard’s bush. Clear bright golden orange coloured pour with a lasting white head. Aroma is dank orange Dana like hop with grapefruit. Flavour is big pine resin and grapefruit. Substantial assertive clean bitterness grapefruit. Some orange in the finish. Palate is clean , touch resinous effervescent carb melts on the tongue. Gooood.

Bottle from Market Row Wines. Colour is clear orange amber, thin white head. Body is oily, slick. Nose is big pine, rich citrus tangerine, orange. Taste is a big hit of pine, tangerine, mandarin. Lots of bitttness, touch of grapefruit, lots of pine. Very good IPA.

Cask by hand pump at CASK Pub & Kitchen on 7th January 2014. Amber with off-white part-lacing foam. Earthy pungent aroma with exquisite citric tangerine and grapefruit. Rich grapefruit and tangerine plus intense grassiness in-mouth. Grassy, grapefruity finish becoming grassy and bitter on an engaging mouthfeel and substantial body. Exquisite.

Bottle. Hazy golden colour with good foamy head. Sweet floral and tropical aroma with grape, grass and citrus. Bitter and sweet taste, with more grapefruit, citrus, pines and hops. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Dry hoppy finish with grapefruit, citrus and pines. Needs more madness.

Bottle. Just hazy gold with an inch of white head. Aroma of lime leaf, herbal lemon, mango, pine, maybe just a hint of soap. And so it tastes - really not much going on maltwise. Sweet fruits, plenty of citrus flavours, some pine. Dryish at the end. Bitterness is high enough that it doesn’t seem like fruit salad, but more of a closing off for the sweetness than a real kick.

Resinous pine citrus and sweet funk aroma, slight bubblegum. Pours clear amber, slight white head quickly dispersed. Sweet, lightly bitter, taste delivers masses of hop pleasure; medium body almost sticky, carbonation average, not too much. Long green finish. Lovely.

Brenhophead (524) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - JAN 16, 2014
330mL bottle. Pours pale golden with a small white sundsy head and a grassy/piney aroma. Resinous pine dominates the flavour with a medium bitterness and high carbonation. Appears to be East coast IPA style.
