4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours hazy golden color with frothy - but substantial - clean white head. Clean cider-apple aroma, without the unpleasant farmhouse notes. Almost like a perry with more depth thanks to some sherry, citrus notes and a dash of light malt. Fairly sweet flavor with citric-acid pangs. Yeast. Very light for the abv and extremely quaffable. Refreshing brett-sour dryness in the finish. A little warming alcohol in its wake. Very nice.

Bottle sample at a tasting at troublesís place. Thanks Yoav. Cloudy orange-yellow with white head and lots of sediments. Fruity aroma with notes of apple and apricot, some funk and yeasts. Funky flavor with notes of apricot and green apple, some alcohol and wild yeasts, dry. Medium-bodied. Very good.

Nice yellow colour to start with. The smell is refreshing with hints of apple, funky Brettanomyces and some oak. Taste is softly sour with some white grapes, very fine carbon dioxide. Beautiful dry finish. To some extent this reminds me of champagne, due to itís elegance and mouthfeel. Nice one!

3.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Hop Hideout in Sheffield. Pours light golden in coloue with a very small off white head round the edge of the glass. Nose is gose like-tart and citrussy. A little tart, yeasty and refreshing with a toffee apple, dry sherry taste at the end. Really different but good.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Hop Hideout in Sheffield shared with Pix. Pours a hazy straw colour with a layer of white froth and a fair bit of sediment. The aroma is cider and brett. The taste is sour and spicy with notes of cider apples, citrus, brett, some yeast flavour and a dry white wine finish. Quite light and refreshing, especially for the ABV that really isnít noticeable. Different and enjoyable.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hazy yellow with white head. Some floaties. Cider, pepper, lemon and funk. Fruity, citric, spicy and lingering brandy barrel finish. Overall: Fresh and crisp. Almost like a dry white wine.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
- Cloudy, pale.
- Nose: Has that incredibly dry/polysterene nose of a Kasteel Grand Cru; hint of flour-y onion rings and Courvoisier.
- Body: vinous (not surprising given 10%!) Ė like a sunny med White (an Italian Grillo, for example)
- Finish: Very long and classy, thanks to the ageing, with that little brandy lick at the end.
- Kasteel Grand Cru meets cider brandy, and yet still very much more than a [sunny Med white] wine than a beer. Highly enjoyable.

Aroma of barn Brett. Taste is super complex with some bitterness, some apple astringency not a lot of sweetness. Some apple, little vanilla. Awesome complex medium bodied beer.

2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle shared. Pours out of an over lively bottle (mild gusher) into a hazy golden with particles and an off white head. Once we got it poured the aroma reeks of light Brett funk, cider, wood, plastercine, doughy malt, brandy and fruits. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate sour. Over medium bodied with high carbonation that quickly goes flat. A strange beer, basically craft snakebite. Drain poured after half a glass.

A gusher. Thick white head. Funky woody aroma. Very hazy blond pour. Subtle brandy cider notes. An odd beer
