COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bubbles + Apples + Wild Yeast photo (16) Named after the ancient Greek goddess of beer, this is an equally divine Belgian-style saison with a copious amount of New Zealand hops, freshly harvested Somerset apple juice and wild yeast added to the mix. However, we like to take things just that bit further (it’s the Wild way!) — once bottled the beer undergoes a secondary fermentation with champagne yeast, giving it a brisk spritziness on the tongue. Serve chilled in a champagne flute to allow the bouquet of playfully aromatic notes to be fully appreciated. Take a sip to enjoy a further cascade of striking and sensuous flavours alongside the carefree champagne-like spritziness. The long, dry finish is both refreshing and complex.

Bottle. Rating no. 1000! Yay :) Pours a hazy golden body with a large frothy, white top. Aroma of fruity yeast, citrus, apples, hay and a light tartness. Hints of ripe bananas as well. Taste is light sweet and somewhat spicey, balanced wiith fruityness and moderate bitterness towards the finish. Semidry and lasting fruity finish. This is a great beer! Highly drinkable, despite the fairly high abv. Body is medium to full with high levels of co2.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy bright beige/yellow color ale with a nice huge white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of residual sugar with nice fruity ester, some ripe apple notes and some cereal notes. Taste is an easily drinkable mix of ripe apple notes, with a solid malt backbone with some residual sugar notes and some light hops also noticeable. Body is full with great bottle conditioning and good carbonation with no apparent alcohol. Love the mix of apple and Belgian malt and the overall balance of this beer.

Tåkete lys brun med fingerhøyt hvitt skum. Lukter gjær, korn og fersken. Syrlig sur smak, epler og sitrusskall. Tørr, snerpende avslutning. (Grûnerløkka mat- og mikrobryggerifestival).

Look; crazy too big bottle, some cream-lookalike-plastic sealed the cap, I had to use a knife, frothy persistent white huge hue on the hazy bright yellow golden body, spread out fluffy cobwebish lacing. Aroma; very fruity scents, leafy hops, herbal dust, berries, citrus juices, very inviting. Taste; hops, herbs, juicy malts, citric fruits, spirit impressions - leading to a juicy lingering warming finish into the grapefruit peels. On palate powerful. Overall; strong hoppy taste, fruity - ridiculously big bottle, 6 3/4 units of alcohol. [75cl bottle, abv9%, B@Vinmonopolet Narvik NO]

Bottle from UtoBeer shared at Rich’s Massive Cellar Emptying Tasting. Ninkasi 9% It’s a light opaque gold with a huge white head that was a slow gusher. It’s got a bright bready apple struddle aroma. Lovely soft body. Bitter metallic Bretty finish on a light Apple & wheat body.

2015-08-15. Crisp dark yellow body with a nice white head. 3+ Aroma is grassy and dry, spice notes . Flavour is a melange of spice and fruit notes, mild pale malt. Average bodied palate, good carbonation. 3+ Very interesting but a bit much. Bottle from the LCBO, Toronto.

Delicious. Shared a bottle with Martin. Lots of wild, tarty cooking apple taste against bitter hops, sweet malt and tangy yeast. It’s pretty wild on all fronts. Well done. Far from an ordinary brew.

Pours an insane amount of frothy bubbly head and has a hazy orangey light amber appearance. Thick dirty lacing. Aromas are quite perfumy, some orange and citrus notes, spices. Flavours are weird mixture of apple/pear/orange and some yeast to give it some thickness. It’s like punching my palate with sweetness, bitterness, sourness and tartiness. It’s fairly good at first but has a bit of a soapy like mouthfeel in the finish, kind of a turnoff. Also, for a strong beer, it’s well hidden.
