Pours murky brown with a small head. Aroma is that acidic vinegar you get on a great sour, some ripe red berries. A nice, meaty red berry flavour with just a hint of sourness. I’m really starting to dig these wild beer sours.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Keg at BD Shepherds Bush, 20/12/13.
Lightly hazed dark amber come chestnut brown with a moderate tan covering.
Nose is caramel, sprucey wood, light pine, bitter orange, tannins.
Taste comprises caramel fudge, sprucey wood bark, herbal qualities, light perfume, tangy dark fruit, bitter decaying orange, light must and wood.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying finale with a bitter and tarte ring.
Decent palate cleanser, would put this as a SHV over a fruit beer.

Tap at BD Shepherds Bush. Pours clear dark brown with a small beige head which quickly disappears. Nose is light sourness, nutty, cherry, tarty berries and wood. Taste is a little grassy with a great balanced sourness. Tarty cherries and raspberry sweetness work well. A very decent and balanced beer
