(Keg at Angleterre, 20151014) The beer poured black. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had coffee, bell peppers, burnt malts and liquorice. Palate was full bodied and oily with medium carbonation. Flavours were coffee, burnt malts, liquorice, saltiness, bell peppers, earth and bitterness. Aftertaste had sweetness, coffee and bitterness. A complex but also good coffee infused strong stout. The drinkability was so good that it was frightening.
