Drank straight from the bottle. Aroma is of blackberry. Taste like blackberry syrup. The sweetness is overwhelming. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cough syrup smell and look. All of their flavored lagers are good, just one of each is enough.

Bottle. Pours a purple color with purple tinted head. Blackberry, jam, fruit drink aromas. Blackberry flavors. Kind of syrupy mouthfeel. On par with Wild Blue.

Pours a dark purple like some kind of grape soda with medium carbonation. Aromas of soda pop (grape almost). Flavors of sweet grape soda and grain. Corn syrupy feel and taste. Leaves a slightly unpleasant grain aftertaste. Medium to high sweet. A little to sweet.

Another gem from match1112. 12 oz bottle into an over sized wine glass. A - Pours a dark purple body with thin light purple edging. Straight 4’Loko style. S - A pretty intense aroma of fake blackberries and a touch of vodka. Such a strong smell! T - How do people drink this? Sugar, sweetener, sugar syrup, black berry jam, and sugar cubes. Its so over the top, this taste like an alcoholic sucralose fruity blackberry bomb. Thick and syrupy. O - There are zero redeeming qualities to this beer. Its cheap and highly alcoholic, but you would have to break through a wall of artificial sweetener and defeat the inevitable headache to achieve any sort of buzz. Just stick with fruited vodka.

Bottle pour. Not horrible for a fruit beer made by ABInBev. Juicy and kool aid like, but sometimes that’s OK.

Bottle. Nose explodes with blackberry / black currant in the Skittles mold, super sugary and cloying. Pours a deep violet-red with a light pink head. Taste is much the same, sugary-sweet and cloying with an off-putting medicinal tone. Syrupy full body with light fizz, just icky icky icky. You might ask why I score this even lower than the comparable raspberry version; well, this one probes new depths of artificiality and the head-shaking medicinal effect is in-line with the worst of tussin-derived offenders. Nasty.

Snuck a two ounce sample from a friend. Red wine color. No head. Aroma is blackberry juice. Sweet at start but weird aftertaste. Glad I didn't buy but wife might like it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours a clear pinkish purple body with a super fizzy pink tinged head that faded to a very thin film. The smell of this is hitting me from two feet away. Smells like grape soda mixed with jelly. Can’t imagine anyone would guess this was a beer simply by smelling it. Tastes like grape soda mixed with food dye and some grain alcohol. It has a very chemical laced lingering finish that really sticks around. Sticky and clingy body with fizzy prickly carbonation. This stuff is pretty bad. I think I’d rather drink MD 20/20 than this stuff.

Taste like grape soda, honestly not that bad. Probably does well on college campuses.
