3.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Picked this up after the brewery tour in St. Louis. Not the best fruit beer I have had, but OK.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
"Better than blue, slighly more fake tasting than the red, but a little more flavorful all the same (even if it’s generic and not really resembling blackberry). Had to try...won’t again.

2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle. Not the worse thing I’ve ever tasted. The aroma was definitely blackberry, however the flavor was very manufactured and not natural tasting. Had some kick. Ehh.

2.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Pours deep purple with a thin pink head. Aroma was sweet with heavy blackberry and grapes. Flavor was sugary sweet with blackberry, grape soda, artificial berries, alcohol and had a sweet finish.

1.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
Rated on 5-06-2014 (Bottle) This beer has a smooth pink head with a long retention, transparent reddish body, fizzy, lively, fast rising carbonation, and a fair amount of lacing. The aroma is heavy artificial berries, sweet and tart. The flavor is artificial berries, very sweet, lightly sour, and lightly bitter. The mouthfeel is smooth and this beer is light bodied. The flavor of this beer is yucky tasting. Too artificial and it is a beer I do not recommend.

1.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 4/20
Pours a pretty dark purple with a solid light purple foam sheet. Smells like blackberry meat and a little grape juice with the lager underneath. Slightly sweet, but not overly so. Tastes like sugar free, blackberry jelly (not jam), lacks any of the tartness or astringency that comes along with a good, quality blackberry. Really, way too sweet, artificially so. Thin with lower carb than anticipated, which is nice. Overall the beer would be so much better if not for the profound, excessive and reprehensible use of sweeteners. That makes the beer horrid.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours deep berry in color with a nice light pinkish hue on the head. Aroma brings berry, sweet and delicious. Flavor is similar, sweet berry juice with a hint of lager as the backbone.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours deep purple into a snifter. Purple head with little retention recedes to bubble surface. Blackberry aromas. Medium bodied with sweet blackberry cobbler front to back. Mildly bitter, rotten seed in the medium-length finish. Not a lot of lager characteristics in this one... but if you like blackberries, it’s an easy drinker, but this could sneak up on you as the 8% is well hidden...

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
12oz bottle 6/17/13 (Binny’s Naperville Mix A Six)-40° in Shaker-Pours purple with a small purple head. Aroma of blackberry. Taste of the same with that same medicinal aftertaste. This light bodied brew is not bad but not good.
