Bottle. Pours a purple color with purple tinted head. Blackberry, jam, fruit drink aromas. Blackberry flavors. Kind of syrupy mouthfeel. On par with Wild Blue.

Pours purple with a small purplish head. Aroma is sweet blackberry. Flavor is the same with a hint of booze. Like the rest of this line fruity alcopops.

Pours garnet with a milky purple head. Aroma is mostly blackberry / a generally berry-like tone with a healthy dose of booze and fusel notes. Flavor is pretty much the same. Palate is medium bodied, syrupy and has a cough syrup and light weight oil feel to it. It does a better job of hiding the ultra cheap Malt Liquor+artificial fruit flavor than the Wild Blue, but it is still pretty gross. Berry flavored hangover.

12oz bottle. Pour is purple/black with almost no head. Looks more like a soda than a beer. Aroma is very sweet fruity. The blackberry aromas and flavors completely overwhelm this beer. This is not a beer for beer-drinkers. This is alcohol disguised as soda for people who don’t like the taste of beer.

12 oz bottle. Pours a clear brilliant ruby red-purple with a purple-white head that falls after a minute. Aroma is very berry, along with a whiff of vomit. Taste is sweet and bordering on cloying; wish there was some tartness here. Tastes pretty boozy. Thin bodied. This is probably the worst one yet of these weird fruit beers by AB-InBev. Drinkable, though.

There’s probably some beer in here somewhere but you’d never know it by the taste. The overwhelming blackberry at least seems pretty authentic and not overly syrupy. Still not my thing.

Bottled...whatever. Pours a pretty dark purple with a solid light purple foam sheet. Smells like blackberry meat and a little grape juice with the lager underneath. Slightly sweet, but not overly so. Tastes like sugar free, blackberry jelly (not jam), lacks any of the tartness or astringency that comes along with a good, quality blackberry. Really, way too sweet, artificially so. Thin with lower carb than anticipated, which is nice. Overall the beer would be so much better if not for the profound, excessive and reprehensible use of sweeteners. That makes the beer horrid. Bottle. I knew this wasn’t going to be good going into it but I love blackberries so I thought it would be ok. Smelled like malts and booze. Poured a pale purple. Flavor was infused fruit and alcohol. Horrible after taste. Not a very good beer at all.

Bottle. Pours dark garnet-colored with a small, lively, pink-hued head. Aromas of sweet blackberry and raspberry, some cinnamon, and black cherry. Sweet flavor, with berry, cough syrup, and booze. Syrupy mouthfeel, slick, with medium/high carbonation. Bah. [1017]
