UPDATED: NOV 21, 2012 Bottle. Pours dark cherry red. Nose and taste of cherry juice, chocolate, honey and vanilla. Medium body. The chocolate is a bit artificial at times, but still quite good.

Pours a reddish cough syrup color. Nose is exactly like a cherry tootsie roll sucker. Taste is more pronounced with the cocoa but pretty similar.

Pours cola colored. Aromas of cola and cherry. Flavor is honey, light spice and cola. Flavor kills tastes. Oddly unique.

750ml bottle shared by jtclockwork-may have faded a bit, so taking that into account-bubbles-deep ruby red/brown. A-chocolate, cherry, honey. T-sweet chocolate, cherry, honey, spice. Easy.

Bottle. Pours close to brown and still. A little bit too close to cough drops on the nose, but damn, the flavor brings sweet dark cherry, chocolate, and some lingering honey sweetness. Good stuff, very tasty.

Bottle at James’ place for a tasting. Pours a clear amber brown, still, no head. Smells immediately of a cherry cough drop straight out of my childhood. Medium bodied, cherry cough drops again, and then a slow hit of chocolate out of nowhere. Really tasty actually. Quite nice. Very light warming alcohol on the finish, more chocolate and cherry. Very smooth and drinkable. Sort of like a cheap drugstore chocolate covered cherry.

Bottle courtesy of James at his tasting in November 2012. Pours a deep reddish wine body. Aroma is pure ludens and light peppers. Mouthfeel is silky with notes of chocolate covered cherries, light spice, peppers and cherry skins. Mmmmmmm.
