Bottle. Pours a clear syrup like amber with no head whatsoever. Aroma has a nice sweet bourbon note that melds nicely with the honey and has just a touch of dryness. Flavor has the same nice combination of sweet honey and sweet bourbon that is slightly warming with a hint of dryness.

Backlog rating 12-13-2008. (Bottle) This Mead pours a very, very small head, clear body and a yellow hue. The aroma is sweet, honey and hints of bourbon. The taste mimics the aroma. The palate is tingly and this is a full bodied Mead. Overall, this is a very tasty Mead, worthy of a try and one that I would drink again.

Yellow color, with a light golden hue. The aroma is interesting, with alcohol, spices, strong bourbon vanilla; brutal in the front, elegant later. Good body strength, with medium sweetness; honey flavor, with strong alcohol presence, medium character of oak, even vinous; the final has some light bitterness and alight herbal character.
Very good, a bit over the top.

Bottle. Pale golden colour with no head. Aroma is honey, alcohol, flower. Flavour is honey, alcohol, flower. Nice/OK mead.

Bottle@Ulfborg. Pours clear golden. Aroma of honey, vanilla, slight bourbon and fruitiness. FLavor is sweet honey, dried fruits, some raisins, vanilla and oak. Full body. Nice mead.

Pours clear pale yellow. Aroma has notes of alcohol, honey, nuts, oak, vanilla. Taste is heavy sweet with a long vanilla, honey and nutty finish. Body is full, texture is sticky.

UPDATED: MAY 20, 2012 Holy bourbon Batman! Sooo overwhelming at first then it burns off to a slow burn and the honey flavor then comes out. Not what I expected but still yummy! Definitely a sipper for me and not my typical overly sweet mead.

Bottled, thanks fiulijn! Clear pale golden. Aroma of honey, peat and white pepper. Very sweet and intense, slightly viscous. Some orange and bourbon. Sugary finish with intense heat.

Sweet Desire bottle shared by Steve. Pours light caramel brown. No head. Nose/taste of vanilla, honey, oak, bourbon and caramel. Sticky sweet but not overly cloying. Medium body.
