Bottle. Pours a blue-purple color with purplish head. Blueberry, jam, fizzy soda aromas. Sweet, blueberry juice, fruit drink flavors. I can’t believe it’s 8%. You could get really wasted on these.

2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Pours a dark red-purple with no head. Aroma is all blueberry. Flavor is just about 100% carbonated, sweet blueberry juice with a slight bitter finish. The taste is natural but it drowns out any attributes of a beer. Drinkable, and with the high alcohol content well hidden it will go right to your head. Only recommended for fans of strong fruity beers or wines.

The best fruit beer that i have personally had from a bottle. Nice blueberry aroma with an almost red color? Excellenthst berry taste, but a litttle too sweet for my taste. I still feel that is a good beer. My wife likes to mix it half and half with a stout to make a black and blue that is really, really good!

Wild Blue smells like blueberries and tastes like blueberries. It is 8% alcohol. I enjoyed drinking Wild Blue. It is probably one of my favorite beers. It is fantastic in the spring/summer/fall. All around is a great choice!

Maybe its just my inexperience but fruit & beer never seem to compliment each other. This was leaps and bounds above some of the other fruit beers ive tried (namely sam adams cherry wheat) but still undrinkable. The initial taste isnt bad and reminded me of blueberry pancakes but that sensation gets old quick and turns sickingly sweet & syrupy.

12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Pours a hazy purple with a little pink head. Aroma of yeast and fruit (obviously tons of blueberry). Taste is quite sweet (to be expected) blueberries with some yeast and malts you can’t really taste the booze (8%) which can make this beer dangerous. Very easy to drink and very refreshing.

UPDATED: FEB 6, 2013 Against my better judgment, I purchased this beer just to try it. This beer reminds me of drinking Boon?s Farm in a buddy?s car after school. The smell is definitely beer with a hint of fruityness. Pours a purple-like grape juice color. This is where it loses me. The taste is full of artificial like flavors. Reminds me of a fermented Capri Sun. Rough on the back of my throat. The ?fruit? taste is overwhelming. Drank 1/4 of glass then chugged the rest. Couldn?t stand it. Packs a punch at 8% though.
