1.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Recommended by a friend as "the best beer youíll ever have." I quickly realized that heís a damn moron because this beer is utter crap. Donít get me wrong; its flavor is nice enough and the deep purple color is magnificent. These qualities make it a fantastic adult alternative to Kool-Aid, but not much else. Tasty enough as a blueberry beverage, but compared to any other beer itís just swill.

It poured a purple color with a purplish-white head. The aroma was of blueberry pie and grape juice. The taste was like grape juice with a hint of blueberry.

As a total copout, Iím going to be posting essentially the same review for all 3 of the ďWild + ColorĒ series beers because theyíre all basically the same.
Wild Blue tastes and smells like artifical blueberry syrup. There are no distinguishable hops or malt tastes because the sugary, syrupy sweetness is completely overwhelming. This is high-powered, boozy, and synthetic. If thatís your jam, go for it.
By the way, I donít like how theyíve used a dog theme and a similar font as Flying Dog in a transparent attempt to trick buyers into this stuff.

12-ounce bottle. Intense cranberry color. No head. Intense blueberry aroma and flavor. Medium body. One dimensional with sweet fruity flavor balance. Not recommended.

0.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
UPDATED: APR 5, 2013 I had to dump this one. I like fruit beers. I love blueberry ales and every Framboise I have had. Canít do this one. Itís too artificial. Itís trying too hard. It knows it canít compete and has hopped itself up on performance-enhancing chemicals.
I wanted to add that the label on my bottle was slightly different from the one pictured here. In layout and style (and in subject matter - the bulldog) it was very, very similar to Flying Dog offerings. And it was positioned right alongside Doggy Style. This was just a little sketchy, to me. The Wild Blue label design does not make it clear who is behind the beer, either. Iím not sure how I feel about that...

2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
12 ounce bottle, pours an amber purple color, aromas of synthetic blueberry, and some malt. Flavors are the same with a boozy aftertaste, not a great beer overall, but fif you like fake blueberry and booze, this is for you.

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
12oz bottle, Pours a dark red-purple color with a big pink head. Aromas begin with artificial blueberry juice/syrup. The tastes begin with sweetness and blueberries (perhaps like blueberry syrup, extra syrup). The 8%abv. does come through. Light bodied with above co2. Finish is sweet and cloying. Difficult to finish, close to a drain pour.

3.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a Reddish-Purple in color with a thin fingertip sized Purple head. Little to no lacing on glass. Smell is mostly of Blueberry, Fruit, and Sugar. Smell is very sugary, and smells alot like Candy and Syrup. Has light fizzy carbonation that lasts to almost last sip. Taste is of Blueberry, and VERY SWEET and sugary. The Blueberry is not real strong or overpowering, but this beer is really very sweet, and almost tastes like a sugary fruit drink with fizzy carbonation. It almost tastes like someone melted down a Blueberry pancake into liquid, and now you are drinking it! Good if you want something really sweet, but I donít know if I would drink more than 1 or 2 at a time, or drink it everyday on a daily basis. Will give it a slightly higher rating just because it is a "fruit beer", and tastes and smells like Blueberry fruit.

1.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
Bottle. Pours a rather scary looking purple body with a fizzy one finger fuzzy purple head that quickly vanished. The aroma smells more like a blueberry soda than beer. Thereís really no hint of beer in there at all. The flavor is the same way, tastes like grape soda actually, not even blueberry really. If there are hops in here, I donít know where the hell they are. How they get away with calling this beer I will never know. This tastes more like a wine cooler than the handful of those that I have had. Sweet, slightly sticky, fizzy body with a lingering candy finish. Yuck.
