Commercial Description:
Not suited for timid or reserved beer drinkers, Wild Blue’s defining taste characteristic is its kick of natural blueberry flavor. The Blue Dawg Brewing team carefully selected a blend of hops and barley malt to ensure they complemented and balanced Wild Blue’s dominant blueberry notes, resulting in a robust and aromatic beer with a refreshing, palate-cleansing finish. Wild Blue is brewed with a blend of German hops from the Hallertau region in Bavaria and classic Aroma hops from the Willamette Valley in the Pacific Northwest. A combination of two- and six-row barley malt also was chosen specifically for this recipe. Beer lovers will appreciate this specialty fruit-infused lager’s striking burgundy color, ripe blueberry aroma and its ability to stand up to the strongest of foods.

Purple color and small pink purple head that disappeared almost immediately with a very sweet pronounced blueberry aroma like I’d opened a can of Welch’s or something. Tastes like a spritzy soda pop wine cooler and wow turns out this is made by Anheuser-Busch. They’d deserve to be bought out by InBev for turning out crap like this. "Wild Blue", my ass. This is as tame as they come.

Bottle. Pours a dark blue/purple which is very disarming. Aroma of berries and malt. Flavor is intense of sweet blueberry, malt, and a touch of alcohol. Finish remains sweet but slightly odd in taste and a bit syrupy. Overall, it is a a decent attempt at a fruit lager,-- a nice no-nonsense alcohol content – but this is really not my thing.

From a six pack that cost $7.85. Even bad beer is getting expensive these days. Blueberry color with small light purple head. Light but smooth mouthfeel. Sweet flavor of blueberry. Barely drinkable.

IT HAS A STRONG ALCOHOL CONTENT THAT IS MASKED WELL BY THE STRONG BLUEBERRY FLAVOR. IT IS MORE LIKE A WINE COOLER THAN A BEER.

Bottle poured a clear purple with a lingering ring of lavender fosm. Aromas of grape, light blueberry and a hint of cookie. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of cookie, grape and light blueberry with a smooth sweet finish.

Pours a very rich blueberry color. Smell is very strong of blueberry. Too sweet for me plus some odd aftertaste. Have another? Maybe after I forget how this one tastes...
