COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Classic English-style amber ale with a full, malty body and a robust hop flourish. Its rich copper color comes from British Crystal and Chocolate malts. The round maltiness is perfectly balanced with a spicy blend of Williamette, Hallertauer, Tettnang, and Cascade hops.

$1.49 for a 12-oz single. Pretty amber color, but no head. Very light maltiness in the nose... not much of an aroma at all. Tasty... malty & nutty, with a hint of light chocolatiness. A bit on the sweet side.

Very fresh and clean flavor. I actually found a flavor of sweet honey tea in this beer, kind of like one of those arizona cans. Anyways, it was a refreshing, easy drinkin beer.

UPDATED: JUN 11, 2005 Pours beautifully, splashes a nice dark amber, with deserved fanfare and pageantry. Aroma is quite pleasant, as is the taste which is accompanied by a silky smooth palate, usually reserved for more robust beers. I like this one a lot.

This Amber Goose pours out prune color with little to no head. Malts come through strong and its flavor reminds me of a weak barley wine style. Hops are present in the nose but not in the taste. Drinkable.

Bottle pours a vibrant golden, slightly cloudy, small dishwater like head, spotty lacing, with soft carbonation.   Malty, nutty, slightly sweet on the nose.   Quite nutty and malty in the flavor.   A bit too nutty for my tastes tho.   Medium body & mouthfeel.   Finishes on a strong nutty note, with a decent amount of malts.   Tiz alright, but too nutty for me.

Amber in color with a thin off-white head. Aroma of caramel and a touch of fruitiness. Thin-bodied and malty with a slightly, slightly bitter aftertaste. Overall....not so great.

This is an above-average amber ale. Pours copper, with malt, hop, and toffee aroma. Tastes malty, with hops, caramel, and fruitiness in the finsih.

Not much in the way of aroma. Kinda plain with a mix of hay and malts I guess would describe the scent best. Spicy malt flavor which is a little thin with a tiny bitter hoppy finish. Not a bad beer, but not great either.
