| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Jun 14, 2007 Pours deep gold, almost orange; sudsy, pale tan head leaves average lace. Conflicting aromas of apricot, roasted corn, sulfur, and muscadine. Noxious grainy and estery flavor sports rubbing alcohol, tarry phenols, and faint citrus. Thin, oily palate. Moderately bitter yet extremely offensive aftertaste evokes pond mud and latex balloons. There is an overall soapy and hairspray and diesel/sooty quality that worsens with every sip. Cheap-tasting and malt-liquorish, disgusting. Drain pour. ChainGangGuy (2555), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA

I can review this beer, if you would like. But I want to know you really want me to do it before I waste my time with it.
...
Well, I have a lot of free time...
Appearance: Pours an incredibly thin, strawish yellow-orange color (not one of the more exciting colors from the Beer Rainbow) with total clarity and a foamy white head that left plenty of lacing.
Smell: Petite aroma of florals balanced well with a light, malty caramel scent.
Taste: The beer began inauspiciously, as hints of honey, grains, and lemon drifted by with slight fruity tones and an enduring dry, peppery finish that follows you around like an annoying little brother.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Carbonation is quite fizzy.
Drinkability: Very smooth. Fairly tame, fairly tasty, and a good choice for a session IPA.

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 6, 2007 Treatful palate, sweet candyish, before a nice choking out of the candy by the hoppiness. Aroma is minimal for this style a bit of pine and maltiness. Nice looking orange. Decent stuff. nearbeer (1834), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 2, 2007 Updated: Mar 13, 2009Bottle, best before 23407. Shiny and clear burnt orange with a medium and lasting head. Aroma is earthy floral-wood hops, with some sweet nutty malt underneath. Seems very British-influenced in the yeast, and the tendency toward a balance between malt and hops. Has a slightly malt-forward front with interesting spicy, and slightly sour hops at the end. This is still a hoppy beer that’s better than most British IPAs because of the hops. PorterPounder (3137), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

Pours a medium, sparkling orange with a soft white head that fades after a while. Hint of spruce in the aroma - not very profound though. Solid sublte bitterness permeates thoughout with some tangy citrus notes, a hint of mint, some nectarines and some nuttiness for balance. Decently thick mouthfeel and missing that stinging mouthfeel that some IPAs tend to have. Above average. It smelled better than it tasted. It does look good in a glass though.
