ph0tik (71), Denver, Colorado, USA Apr 4, 2006 Golden color. Nice aroma and not too hoppy but highly carbonated. Easy to find better IPAs Cappadonna (104), Delray Beach, Florida, USA Mar 29, 2006 Pours golden with mild carbonation and white head. Hoppy aroma with notes orange. Mostly bitter and a bit watery feeling- the bitterness has a moderate duration. Nothing exciting overall. AdamSkillin (376), High Bridge, New Jersey, USA Mar 27, 2006 Malt profile is dank basement, underhopped for a pale ale, really yellow in color, and highly carbonated. rudolf (1734), Buffalo, New York, USA Mar 22, 2006 Yellow/gold, thin head. nose is iced tea, some orange. Maltier than expected with a little maple/brown sugar. Flavor is iced tea - too malty - this malt profile reminds me of a maibock. Sweet iced tea & bread finish. Meh. beerguy101 (3861), Newark, California, USA Mar 16, 2006 This IPA pours an orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is orange and citrus, with a touch of pine. A medium bodied IPA. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are nearly non-existent, kind of citrus and piney. Definitely more in the English style of IPA. Smooth taste. Dry and crisp. Mild bitterness. A touch sweet and a little mild for an IPA, but drinkable. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. FROTHINGSLOSH (1961), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 16, 2006 Updated: Jun 29, 2006I am not a big fan of this brewer but I do like my hops. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a copper color with a medium sized white head. The aroma is light and fruity with with a hint of floral hops. The flavor is nutty and has a light citrus and floral hop presence. Beerman6686 (1266), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 13, 2006 Got this one out of the wildgoose variety pack. IM definately not a fan of IPA’s and this , but this one was not completely flooded with hopps so I was impressed. very drinkable, but of course im sure IPA lovers would not even consider this an IPA. RAYBOY01 (1813), Chicago, Illinois, USA Mar 6, 2006 Some mild caramel and fruity malting with a mild citrus hopping to add a suggestion of bitterness. This brew, though easy drinking and pleasant, is really a mild APA and not an IPA in any way.
