Clear golden amber pour with ring of large bubble white head. Very mild floral aroma. Caramel flavors with just the slightest hint of hop flavor. Resiney. Bitter finish. No telling how old this actually was, but I hope this is better fresh. Otherwise this beer kinda sucks. JB175 (1665), Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 13, 2006 Updated: Sep 10, 2006If you replaced the "I" with an "A" I think the rating would be a bit more accurate. Not bad, but very limited in hoppiness. Might have been better had the distributor not kept Wild goose variety packs well past their exp date. jason (1627), Easton, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 6, 2007 Bottle. Pours a murky cloudy pale orange body with thin head. Aroma is of heavy malt, light hops, gym shorts. Flavor has a very dominant malt profile with some citrus hops hanging in near the end. Mediocre. TheBeerOrg (1595), Kentucky, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 3, 2008 Pours orangish golden with a mostly receding off-white head. Aroma of mild citrus, pines and toffee. Taste is citrus, caramel, toffee, and earthy malt. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, lightly resinous with moderate carbonation. Not all that hoppy for an IPA, pretty drinkable though. MrBunn (1566), Western, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 5, 2009 Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy orange with a minimal head that dies quickly. Aromas are a mixture of honey and caramel malt, a little bit of herb/spice and a touch of citrus. This is fairly interesting and compelling up to this point. Flavor is very malt heavy and it seems more toffee-like than caramel-based. The malt presence sits kind of heavy on the palate and there is not enough of a hop presence to pull it out of its funk, even if it wants to claim status as an English IPA (at least this is how I feel about it all.) Comes off as very malty and heavy with just a little bit of a medicinal hops presence which keeps the flavor from being a complete disaster. Still, the nose made it seem like this was going to be much better. obxdude10 (1566), Pottstown, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 18, 2002 Very disappointed, not as heavily hopped as I expected, not the kick that I love with IPA’s, kept a real nice head, a nice dark copper color, but just not what I was expecting, just didn’t have it

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 30, 2008 very mild IPA. Piney with a slight citrus aroma. Desent bitterness, slight piney flavor. Very very mild IPA, i’d call it a pale ale. Not a bad session beer. DSG (1515), Tel Aviv, Israel
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 13, 2007 Bottle sample. Hazy amber with a white head. Floral hoppy nose with a bit of citrus, some malt and a bit of caramel. Flavor starts with some sweet malt and a bit of caramel, then turns to bitter hoppiness with slight hints of grapefruit. Medium-bodied. Quite enjoyable, but nothing great.
