| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 22, 2003 A crystal clear golden amber body is topped by a thick off-white lasting head with a decent amount of lace. Sour and slightly bitter hoppy aroma with hints of sweet maltiness. Slightly sweet hoppy flavor with an underlying bitterness and a touch of malt. The finish is long and very bitter from the hops. Medium bodied, relatively smooth and a touch dry. alexanderj (2293), Chino Hills, California, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 2, 2007 Bottle; pours a gold color with medium to large frothy white head. Aroma of biscuit, yeast with only a faint hop presence. Flavor had a fairly strong bitter finish. However, lacked complexity and good flavor. Really a poor offering; below average for the style. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 10, 2006 Aroma is mostly fruity and only mildly hoppy. Transparent golden/yellow with a very handsome two finger thick white head that is fairly creamy and lasting. Fore is sweet and malty with light floral notes. Very light hops (for the style) in the middle. Finish is dry and malty though the aftertaste leaves a sort of floral soapy taste. Decent lacing as you drink. It’s very light feeling and refreshing which is not how I think of IPA’s. zach8270 (2146), Henrietta, New York, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 28, 2009 (bottle - 12 oz) Clear orange color with a fizzy white head. Aroma is light and slightly hoppy with some nice citrus and malt notes. Flavor begins with a smooth and caramelly malt taste and moves to a lightly dry and floral hop middle. Finishes with some more of that malt and a lingering, bitter finish. Nicely balanced. jsquire (2123), St. Marys, Ohio, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 13, 2002 It poured out of the bottle with a pale yellow color, thin head and a sweet, fruity nose. This beer has a light body for an IPA, with the initial sweet malt flavors being overtaken by the hop bitterness. Nicely balanced and easy drinking, but not an especially good IPA. mds (2112), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 20, 2008 Bottle. Pours a light orange coloured body with a small creamy white covering. Aroma is mostly sweet grain with some kind of plastic notes and burnt toffee. The flavour is grainy and chewy but more in a malty fashion. Very little hop flavour and somewhat difficult to conclude that this is an IPA. SSSteve (2107), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
