Beer_Hawk (628), Murfreesboro, Tennessee, USA Apr 30, 2008 Bottle. Poured an orange color with a frothy off-white head. Subdue aroma of malts and a slight hop background. Sweet malt flavor with hints for floral. Light body. Light bitterness. Dry and crisp. (Rating from Sept ’07)
Caleb1035 (5), , North Carolina, USA does not count Jul 9, 2008 Purchased 12 oz bottle at Vintage in Ballantyne. Bitter taste with hints of fruit. nothing special here, just a slightly above average ipa wcampbell (380), Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 7, 2008 A really weak IPA. Had more of an amber ale kind of malt taste than the typical bitterness of an IPA. As an amber, this wouldn’t be too bad. For the IPA style this is not good at all. Lightly sweet and malty, but slightly watery. Not offensive tasting, just not good. Tasted like the IPAs that I had in England - very different than american IPAs. badbeer (391), Iowa, USA Jul 5, 2008 Pale yellow color, small head that left no lacing. Smell was weak, less hop aroma than a very very light pale ale. There is only a small amount of earthy hops in the aroma, with a biscuity smell that isn’t all that great. Taste was much of the same, and unimpressive was it as well. I don’t doubt the time and effort put into this, but this one certainly doesn’t tickle my fancy. Low carbonation, lighter bodied, and definately not a joy to drink; probably won’t have this one again.
puggy211 (298), cordova, Tennessee, USA Jul 5, 2008 Pour is a nice light orange with a big white head. Aroma is a nice crisp hop. Flavor is a bit weak but you do get a mild hop kick. Not the best IPA by a long shot. checkmatei1 (215), Willow Grove, USA Jun 30, 2008 Bottle: Poured an orange amber color with lots of head. The aroma was malty and hoppy. The flavor was bitter, hoppy, pine, flowery and citrus. Overall, a decent beer.
