| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 4, 2002 Light hop nose, pale orange color and a foamy head. Heavily hopped and a long, sharp bitter end. Medium body to support the bitterness. OK IPA, but not special in any way. jcalbi (378), New Jersey, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Jun 14, 2002 Color of Orange Blossom Honey with a rather backwash-like white head. Aromas of caramel with a slightly grassy touch. Initial hop bitterness followed by a flavor of caramel and a grassy/straw aftertaste that settles into in the back of the throat. Average IPA. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 16, 2006 Bottle. Golden body with long-lasting carbonation. Herbal, spicy citrus rind aroma with tart grain off to the side. The spicy, sappy hops take center stage when sipped with a bock-like malt tartness at the end. Dry finish. This stuff would be good served cold on a hot day, it’s not much for savoring. Foxbush (468), Richmond, Virginia, USA

This is basic IPA. There was nothing that hit you as being special. The taste was crisp but not overpowering. This is a very drinkable IPA that you can enjoy anywhere. I enjoyed this again in February 2005 after pruning grape vines. It is a well balanced IPA. I had another on 9/12 at the Capital Ale house. Another great India Pale Ale. dankfor20 (193), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 22, 2006 Bottle. Clear amber color. Crisp flavors up front, slightly grassy, overall very light for IPA, but it doesn’t have any defects that I can find. Oily and syrupy hops are present, reminds me of SNPA actually, with some light pine and sap flavors. Light and sweet hop and wheat flavors, drinkable and tasty, but not a world class IPA... in fact it’s almost right between APA and IPA in my opinion. pantani (1902), Salinas, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 24, 2005 This IPA was clean, nothing special but not as bad as it is rated. Had it at a baseball game in Baltimore. Pretty balanced and not overwhelming on the hop end, I’m not too experienced with East Coast IPA’s, but this was good enough for me to drink it again.
