A very pleasant beer! Poured to a dark orange-red with medium off-white head that lingered well and left okay lacing. Aroma, though more muted than many IPA’s, was a nice hoppy citrus, with just the right blend of malty sweetness. Mouthfeel tended to lean toward the tangy citrus hops, and the flavor pretty much followed suit with the nose. This led to a long, pleasant aftertaste, that while, again, not as pronounced as many IPA’s was enjoyable just the same.

Good English-style IPA, session beer. Medium copper color, big head. Smells pf sweetbreads and earthy bitter hops. Crisp bitterness and lemon and floral hop notes up front. Sweet burnt cookie malts. Slightly astringent on the palate, but nothing excessive. Balancced, mellow, with even carbonation.

Pours a golden color, with a light white head. Tastes hoppy and slightly citrusy. Good lacing. A fine beer in general and even better for the money.

Plastic cup from a tap at Camden Yards. Another local delight that makes a great back-up IPA when I don’t have any Clipper City Loose Cannon Hop3 around. Subdued and easier drinking than all those other mega-IBU hop-bombs you hear hopheads raving about, and a good example of a solid East Coast IPA (meaning it’s sweeter, chewier, and maltier.) Those looking for a gateway craft beer have found it here.

Just the right amount of hops, a real quick w/o choking you. I agree - a must try.

Very good ipa. Hazy, light golden body with a very small head that disappears fast. Aroma is light citrus and white grape. Sweet grape and yeast flavors. Great hop/malt balance.
