A creamy and toasty ale, brewed with oatmeal, five malt varieties and roasted barley. Hops include a blend of Cascade, Willamette, and Tettnang hops. This lush, full stout has a rich black color and a dry finish that is smooth and gently hopped.

not a huge fan of stouts but this one is a little too sweet for my taste, slightly burnt for my taste

Roasty, sweet and smooth oatmeal stout. Hops present, but this is definitely a malt-lovers beer.

Another nice black stout with a tan head and thin lace. This one was fairly sweet taste with mild coffee tones, and a faint coffee smell. A decent enough stout.

The ’creamy and toasty’ flavors were subtle in this black stout.

Huge head on this brew. The nose is roasty and malty. I once had this beer next Brooklyn BCS, the nose on the WGOMS was so much more intense. The palate is rich and creamy. Most of the flavors are coffee when the beer is cold. After warming up much of the esters, nuts, and chocolate come out. The beer is hopped just right. The body is medium to full. A good OMS.

I love the dark color of this beer, as well as the nice aroma it carries. It has a very good taste to it, if a bit lighter than other oatmeal stouts. Not as good as Samuel Smiths or my local Barley’s brew, but still a good beer find.

Pours with a chocolate brown head that diminishes after several minutes. Coffee black appearance. Very sweet, malty aroma with a hint of oats. Medium bodied with nice carbonation. Nice flavor with oatmeal, toffee, roasted barley flavor. Lightly hopped for a nice finish. Definitely worth trying and much better than its current overall rating of 3.6.

Great beer. Although a bit thinner than I was expecting. Tastes and feels a bit like porter rather than a stout. Smooth, slightly hoppy, light roasted flavor. Nice brew.
