Wow, I had thought the only Oatmeal Stout that mattered was the one brewed by Samuel Smith. I was wrong, dead wrong. This wonderous concoction has the same matly oaty hoppy goodness but without the sometimes overwhemlming sweetness. Extremely enjoyable, smooth and flavorful. A classic.

The more I have stouts the more I like them- so similar to red wines. Had this at the Beer Fest. Nice complex aroma, sweet and creamy tasting, full bodied.

This beer definitly sets the bar for sweet stouts. Beautiful rich color and nice head that laces throughout the glass. Taste is full of flavor and body with sweet undertones, but not overly filling like some stouts. !!

Pours with a chocolate brown head that diminishes after several minutes. Coffee black appearance. Very sweet, malty aroma with a hint of oats. Medium bodied with nice carbonation. Nice flavor with oatmeal, toffee, roasted barley flavor.

Very sweet toasty aroma. Black with a chocolaty head. Smooth sweet malty taste with a dry finish. Very flavorfull and full bodied. Some oatmeal stouts leave you wanting more but this one delivers. Can’t find a better beer at this affordable price.
