COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Appearing almost black at first glance, Wild Goose Porter is actually a deep ruby-red ale. Roasted malt flavors accent its velvety finish.

This is a pretty decent porter. Very straight forward. Very dark, almost black. Tan head with decent retention. Nice roasted, malty flavor. This is a good porter but still not my favorite.

A descent porter. Dark, a descent amount of choco flavor is apparent. Not a great aftertaste, but still descent overall.

Average head with dark brown appearance. Weak, yet roasty aroma. Smoke and chocolate in the flavor. Finish is watery and slightly bitter. I"m not all that impressed with this one.

Malty and smooth, although it is very unimpressive in general. Cocoa is present in the flavor, but the aroma is more smoky/chicory. Bitter finish.

Very dark reddish brown, with tan head. Coffeelike, but nonetheless unmistakably beer. Really satisfying, overall.

Head is initially average sized, frothy, light brown, mostly lasting. Body is dark brown to black. Aroma is moderately malty (roasted grain, dark chocolate), lightly yeasty (dough), with a note of vanilla. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is moderately bitter, lightly acidic, slightly husky. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. A bit of a husky/grainy aftertaste, and overall not that exciting.

Very nice effort. I had a draft that looked great, tan head. Smells of roasted malt, tastes creamy, nice finish. Easy to drink, not too complex porter.

a good plain porter. nothing really special, but I liked the simpleness to it. It is a very basic porter taste. A good beginers beer.
