Bottle from family in the area. Poured clear redish brown with a small off-white head, little lace. Aroma is really malty, some roasted and sweet notes, light spice, mild fruit. Taste is extremely malty, again mixed roast and sweetness. Some light spice & fruit notes. Hop presence is very mild. Some nut flavors also noticed. Mouth is smooth and carbonation is mild. Overall, a decent winter ale.

Bottle. Nice malt and caramel aroma. The taste was malty with a sweet finish. The carbonation seemed very fizzy to me.

12 oz bottle into a pint glass. Nice hoppy finish, but otherwise and altogether relatively average.

Pours dark copper with a thin tan head. Smells of raisins, some molasses, sweet. Tastes earthy and dry with some spiciness and a fruity finish.

Bottle from Party Source. Poured clear brown color with medium off-white fizzy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Medium roasted malt aroma with a hoppy tone. Medium body with a smoth texture and soft carbonation. Medium flavor of roasted malt with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Good interesting brew.

A so so beer. Aroma was nice. A woody earthiness with strong caramel malt and a hint of must. Pour was a nice deep dark brown with a pinky sized tan head. Taste was a little thin but the wood and caramel malt mix well together. This is not an oak aged beer, the woodiness is more earthy than in your face if that makes sense. Weak carbonation and a thin aftertaste.

Bottle shared with curly at woody’s. The abv was listed as 6.3%. Pours a clearish brown with fair tan head. Pretty bland, malty, a little cardboard. Lightly roasty with some chocolate notes. I would like to taste this again fresh.
