A deep amber colored ale with a nice spicy oak aroma. A thick rich taste that is warming. A good beer for a snowy day.

Deep red-brown hue. Toasty malt aromas with subtle hop notes. Mildly sweet caramel malt flavors with a dry, tangy hop finish. Well-balanced and very drinkable.

Sweet toffee aroma, some earthy goldingsish hops as well. Malty aroma. Mellow smooth maltiness, with a bit of cracker as well as some rich dark malt character. Suggestion of molasses. Pretty nice.

It pours a deep reddish-brown color with a large off-white head that hangs around for a bit and leaves a nice lacing on the glass. A nutty/malty/chocolate beginning with a dry hoppy flavor aftertaste. Nothing to be overly excited about, but a decent beer just the same.

Deep deep amber with a beige head. Aroma is caramel and sweet with hints of fruit and esters like ripe apple. Good range of hops for balance to the intense malt. Moderate body and good somewhat smooth finish. Slightly oxidized. Overall not as good as I had hoped.

Deep reddish-brown color with a decent off-white head that leaves a good lacing in my glass, fruity and malty aromas. Smooth nutty and chocolate flavors, medium to full bodied with mild carbonation, full creamy and smooth mouthfeel, finishes kind of dry, alcohol well hidden until it warms, a solid winter ale.

A very dark and pretty amber. Very few bubbles and a thin scum of a white head with a little more on the edges of the glass. The aroma is nutty and bready. Also has a slight note of roasted malts. The taste has caramel and nuts. Also some slightly sweet molasses. A solid beer that is a little sweet and refreshing. Mouthfeel is medium with a little stickiness. Very well done.
