Dec 28, 2003 Bottle. Looks good in a glass, dark brown with red highlights when held to the light and a creamy off-white head. Aroma is like honey roasted malts with abundant winter spices and some floral hops. Flavor is sweet and smooth with a little bite of nutmeg and clove and a bitter finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation make this one an all around pleasant winter ale.

Dec 20, 2003 Really nice color and head. Nice variety and depth in the smells and taste. I enjoyed this and was pleased to find it. I dout I'll run across it again, but wouldn't turn it down.

Dec 12, 2003 Poured a reddish copper color with a medium sizes off white head and some lacing. Weak aroma of fruit, malt, and hops. Taste of caramel maltiness, some bittering hops at the end. I tried to find more, but this was just average. Very drinkable however, thanks for hooking me up argo0!

Dec 12, 2003 A beautiful body with a great head on its shoulders. Slight cola taste, but overall a very nice medium to full bodied beer with subtle spice flavors. Definately a winter ale to bring home for Christmas.

Dec 12, 2003 Reddish amber hue with ligh off-white head. Aroma is fruity, woody, touch of toasted malt and aromatic hops. The taste is initially malty swet and fruity tart. Spicy and acidic on teh finish. Lively and chalky mouthfeel. Overall solid average brew, nothing that special however.

Dec 9, 2003 Dark color has tinge of red, with white head. Nice scotch ale type maltiness and flavor. Lots of caramel. Finishes with a little taste of smoke. Not too bad.
