12 oz bottle from MilkmanDan. Aroma of sweet toffee and grassy and herbal hops. Pours hazy cloudy copper with lots of floaties. Bland on the tongue. Grass and toffee. Medium to thin with a watery finish.

Sampled at MN Ratebeer Winter Gathering in Maplewood, MN and supplied by MilkmanDan. From a 12-oz bottle pours a semi-clear dark brown brew with a thin off-white head that leaves behind a thin ring. Aroma of light vegetable character, some powdery dark malt, flowery hops and a touch of white pepper. Taste is medium bodied, very little carbonation with flavors of powdery dark malt, a touch of ivory soap and some light fruit. Finish is slightly metallic with a dry malt aftertaste. Could use a little more spice.

Um, no. 12 oz. brown, longneck bottle. No freshness date seen. Poured out a deep amber color, with a minimal tan colored head. Aromas are of dish soap, cocoa powder, wet dog. Flavors aren’t much better. Nasty stuff. Go back to the drawing board.

12oz bottle cyn brought me back from the east coast. Thanks cyn. Pours orange amber with a nice stable 1 finger tan head. Nose is sweet and malty and nice. Sweet and malty is complemented in the taste and its yummy. Its a nice english strong but not so strong in abv, while nice in taste.

Bottle. Pours a clear, very bubbly, deep ruby-orange with an average size off-white head. Aroma’s sweet and spicy along with caramel malt, traces of chocolate, light hops and some toastiness -- not bad at all. Flavour’s malty and spicy along with alcohol, fruit and a decent bitter finish. Medium bodied. Better then I expected this to be, a decent Xmas Strong Ale.
