3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle @ RBWG Fart Share. Pours a hazy reddish orange appearance with a brown head. Powder cocoa, dark fruity, caramel aroma. Some bubblegum. Fairly heavy banana. A bit strong on booze and banana but I guess it does taste like a banana split.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours an opaque reddish brown on tap with big fluffy tan head that leaves good lace. Aroma of Belgian yeast up front, hints of dark fruit and musky grape, banana esters. Taste follows, heavy on the Belgian not on the wood, no hint of the booze. Thicker mouth and soft carbonation, pretty nice.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pretty good local quad. Dark brown pour. Fruity, candied sugar almost wine like. There is a malt and booze base, but not super huge like some quads. Raisins, baked bread, vanilla. Heavyish mouthfeel.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Dark, reddish brown with a tan head. Aroma is deeply fruity, almost like a red wine with some notes of vanilla. Flavor is big malt with dark fruit and a touch of sweetness. Finishes sweet and a little thick on the tongue. A little oak underneath everything else. Deep and complex, very tasty.

growler. attractive clear deep reddish beer with a small head. robust, sweet, dark fruity aroma. the flavors are dark fruist, toasted marshmallow. freshly charred oak must be bringing the toasted(almost smoky) notes to the flavor. drinks almost light bodied for the style and easily palatable with a dry finish. my favorite from WH.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
16oz Growler from Beverage World. Served at around 50F.
Pours dark reddish brown with a very small head, recedes to just a tiny ring and leaves a few spots of lacing.
Aroma is oaky, vinous, bready, a lot of dark fruit, figs, plums. Good to very good strength.
Flavor features tons of really rich dark fruits, oak, vinous notes, bready & yeasty, rather sweet, alcohol is REALLY well hidden for 10.5% ABV. Very rich, tons of flavor.
Mouthfeel is medium-plus bodied, a bit sticky, low carbonation.
Nice, complex Quad. The Pinot Noir oak adds a nice dimension. Only real faults are the lack of carbonation and a sometimes high level of sweetness.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
11 ounce pour - $8.00 at Taco Mac in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Appearance: Viscous-looking, dark brown body with a slim, beige head.
Smell: Very thick malts with Eschatons of maltiness - notes of toasted bread, caramel, and butterscotch. Large grape-like scent here, coming across more like a large-sized snifter of port.
Taste: Presents a super sweet maltiness, pouring caramel and butterscotch sauce over bready, toasty, full-on chewy malts. A pass of port reduction with a hint of spice peering through the sugars. Spoonful of fruit chutney for a bit more, well, fruitiness. Warming and picking up more and more port-like tones on the heavy finish.
Mouthfeel: Full-bodied. Medium-low carbonation.
Overall: This one’s sweet, succulent, and a real slow sipper.
