3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Aurelius (3444) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - MAY 13, 2013
Great label. Foggy, light orange-tan brew. Aroma is a melange of spices, stewed fruits, a little cabbage, malt, slight phenol, sweat. Sturdy bittering, pretty dry, funky, woody, boozy, a bit wild. Medium body, a loooong alcohop bitter finish. Thanks to PorterPounder - hope he doesn’t get a smartphone.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 chinchill (581) - South Carolina, USA - APR 28, 2013
On tap; served by the brewer.
Pours dark golden with a very fine bone colored head that has great durability and leaves plenty of lacing.
Fruity with funk, yeast, baked bread and clove on the nose. Complex and Belgian-style but otherwise not really appealing.
Taste partly parallels the nose, but with a good bit of tartness that, unfortunately IMO, is accompanied by a mild bitterness. Too much funky/yeasty flavor. Oddly, the aftertaste is rather nice however.
M: excellent feel, with a near medium body and very good medium carbonation.
O: Too much wild yeast and funk for my taste, but otherwise appealing.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 RABinVA (685) - Fredericksburg, Virginia, USA - APR 27, 2013
Bottle from EricTeusink! Pours a beautiful hazy gold with a huge white head. Aroma is spicy, fruity, tart, and tangy. Taste is nutty, fruity, lightly tart, no booze burn. Bread, crackers, finishes crisp. Damn good beer.
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 DoublEE (509) - South Euclid, Ohio, USA - APR 9, 2013
Pours a clear golden amber color, head on the thin side but looks pretty decent.Smell is mostly bright sweet yeast, lots of banana, some nuts, maybe apple or pear, mild spice and floral notes.Lots of sweet flowers, roses maybe, good amount of spice, not much of the yeasty banana I got from the nose. I like this! Really tastes like it has flowers..Mouthfeel is nice, good carbonation that complements the spicy kick well.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 caralkaline87 (433) - Washington DC, USA - MAR 7, 2013
Pours blonde-amber with a fine but decent white head. Nose is spices, fruit, and a touch of booze. Flavor brings out hops much stronger, with malt and booze on the backside, and strong carbonation. Finish is bland. Overall, not bad, but needs a little work.

Bottle. Hazy golden amber color, medium white head. Aroma of biscuit, summer fruit. Taste is peppery straw. Not bad.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 FatWater (19) - Martinez, Georgia, USA - FEB 4, 2013
Had this one on draft at Pizza Joint in Evans. AROMA is yeasty with a bit of barnyard. I could definitely smell the Belgian yeast. APPEARANCE is a draw color with a thin head. TASTE is crisp and clean, not a big bear at all. Very drinkable. The yeast shines with minimal hoppiness. PALATE was very light with little carbonation. OVERALL I expected more from this beer.

Bottle. Pours a near clear deep gold with a large off white head that dissipates to the edged. Aroma has light fruit and sweet grains with a bit of underlying flora. Flavor begins with a light fruit note, flora and sweet grains with a backing earthy note.

Drinking out of a bottle right now, so not sure I'm getting the full effect. But smooth and sweet. Notes of citrus and caramel. Would buy again.
