Drinking out of a bottle right now, so not sure I'm getting the full effect. But smooth and sweet. Notes of citrus and caramel. Would buy again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught. This is a pretty popular beer around Atlanta. Nice and sweet with lots of malt layering.

Deep golden cloudy pour with a huge rocky eggshell head that struggled to settle down. Notes of spicy yeast, citrus and stone fruit. Fairly sweet with some bitterness and a touch of tartness. Active on the palate with a tart, spicy finish. Pretty decent, alcohol strength fairly well masked. Perhaps somewhat one-dimensional toward the spicy and tart notes. Would have liked a touch more sweetness.

The beer is clear and orange with nearly an inch of white head that leaves ample lacing on the glass. The aroma offers spices, light yeast, and a touch of alcohol. Cinnamon, misc. spices and yeast are present throughout, with a light sweetness. Medium bodied. An OK beer, but I wouldn’t want a lot of this. Not on par with the authentic Belgian representations of the style. Fun to try once. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 10-29-2011

Bottled. Poured clear, bright golden with a tall, sticky white head. The aroma picked up very sweet banana and cloves paired with other white spices and a kiss of warmth.. not overly complex, but enjoyable. The flavor found honey, light fruits, and a pinch of molasses at the core, with white pepper, cloves, and coriander laced throughout.. filling carbonation, peppery spicage, and a sharp, metallic hit on the long, warm finish. Medium-bodied on the palate, but it felt thicker at times due to heavy carbonation.. lots of residual spicage on the finish.. OK overall.

On draft poured an orangish amber color with aromas of light banana, spice, yeast and some light wheat. Flavors are the samme, the light spiciness complemented the light wheat and banana flavors, solid beer.

Pours light amber with tons of fluffy white head. Aroma has a nice fruitiness to it with some spices. It is almost like spiced cider with a little pineapple in it. Flavor is also full of spices but not just those typical of classic Belgians. I get some cinnamon and nutmeg type flavors with and underlying tangy-sweet citrus apple type taste. Unique and delicious.

Bottle.
Pours a decent cheddar orange with a nice, thick head of off-white. Aroma is molasses bread, raisin, dark cherry, and sugary autumn leaves. Flavor is pureed prunes and raisins in a sweet bread treat, with a light syrup of dried maple leaves. Thick mouthfeel. Great beer. Nice and cohesive but not too boozy.

12oz bottle from TheBeerSommlier in a trade poured into a Schlafly Tulip. Thanks Matt! Pours a hazy golden orange with a LOT of head. Aroma of spices, yeast and a little wheat. Taste is lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Lots of spices and yeast with a little wheat. Medium bodied with a somewhat thin texture. Fizzy carbonation and a suprisingly long bitter finish. Overall, I’m diggin it. I would gladly drink it again.

The head on this beer, and it may be a bad batch, is nonstop and voracious. The taste is flat with a bite and then its gone. I wanted more from this beer and will ammend my rating should I try a different batch and find out that it was just a bad 4 pack.
