We brew our Strong Golden Ale all-grain, giving it a deep and complex taste.

Belgian aromatic malts add hints of dried fruit, while generous Noble and West Coast hops deliver an earthy spiciness. It finishes semi-dry with lingering tropical fruits and spicy notes from Belgian yeast.

Suggested food pairings: Roasted chicken, grilled pork chops, salmon, Portobello mushrooms, Gouda or Gruyere cheese.

Golden yellow pour with a white head. Belgian spice / phenolic nose. A bit of mineral in the finish of an otherwise nice belgian strong. Not bad.

12oz bottle. Nice big head, translucent, good lacing, and a honey color. Very good complex taste, not dark at all, spices and fruits. Muted aftertaste, but good all the same, true to the style, and remarkably accurate. It’s got pear and spices, as well. Easy drinkin, medium body. Very very good.

Pours between orange and gold with a large fluffy white head that does not remain very long. Smells sweet, bread dough with a bit of fruityness, I want to say bananas but I know that is not right. Taste fairly sweet to start with a bit of spice and continues to a small amount of bitterness. Overall not something I would seek out to drink

Golden brown topped by a big white head that quickly dissipates. Aroma of bread dough, fruity yeast esters and some floral notes. Light malty sweetness, fruity yeast, a hint of bubblegum. A bit of peppery spice and hop bitterness in the finish.

12 ounce bottle from Ale Yeah, Roswell. Pours a hazy orange color with a monstrous 7 finger tan fizzy head. Good head retention. Aroma of bready malts, yeast, citrus and a slight tartness in the finish. The taste is bread, caramel, spice, yeast, bright citrus. Medium bodied. Quite nice.

Great label. Foggy, light orange-tan brew. Aroma is a melange of spices, stewed fruits, a little cabbage, malt, slight phenol, sweat. Sturdy bittering, pretty dry, funky, woody, boozy, a bit wild. Medium body, a loooong alcohop bitter finish. Thanks to PorterPounder - hope he doesn’t get a smartphone.

UPDATED: AUG 27, 2013 On tap; served by the brewer. Pours dark golden with a very fine bone colored head that has great durability and leaves plenty of lacing. Fruity with funk, yeast, baked bread and clove on the nose. Complex and Belgian-style but otherwise not really appealing. Taste partly parallels the nose, but with a good bit of tartness that, unfortunately IMO, is accompanied by a mild bitterness. Too much funky/yeasty flavor. Oddly, the aftertaste is rather nice however. M: excellent feel, with a near medium body and very good medium carbonation. O: Too much wild yeast and funk for my taste, but otherwise appealing.
