very heavy bannanas in the nose along with some yeast. Pretty much the same in the taste. Id say a pretty good nearly similar beer to castelain blond beer.

0.7 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
Semi-opaqe color, but I couldn’t get past the acetone smell/nail polish remover. Think it was the lemon. Couldn’t finish it.

1.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
Had this on draught in Lake Barrington, Illinois. Hazy, deep orange color accented with a lemon. Did I get a bad batch? Mine tasted too much like nail polish remover for me to get a good idea what it was supposed to be like. Dissapointing.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Semi-translucent pale orange with a white rung for the head. Aroma is bananas, linen spray, cloves and lively pepper. Creamy then rapidly thinning banana effervescence is the initial impression. Cloves and pepper help to liven a vanilla sweetening that presents itself midway through the tasting. Lemon sugar cream sweetness. Fairly well done.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: JUL 4, 2005 Interesting naming. I had this at the brewpub. It poured a hazy yellow with a billowy white head. The aroma was fairly faint, a light yeasty fruitiness, pear-like, with a whiff of lemon grass. It’s got a light spritzy mouthfeel. The overwhelming flavor is of bubblegum with a mere smattering of banana on the finish. Sadly, no trace of cloves or other spiciness. Still, a decent thirst quencher.
