Cloudy amber color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of wheat, clove, bananas, & some caramel; Flavor of sweet malt/wheat, yeast, bananas, caramel, and clove; Nicely balanced; Pretty decent hefe.

I think the unique addition of more malt backbone to this hefeweizen added a nice special touch to the brew. It made it thicker and have a bit more body as well as a nice rich somewhat roasty aftertaste. Nice brew.

EtTuCthulhu (1295) - Columbia, Missouri, USA - FEB 10, 2015
This beer pours an opaque brownish orange color with a medium white head that fades somewhat quickly. The aroma blends wheat and bubblegum with a hint of nuttiness, and the taste is mildly sweet with a really nice wheat aftertaste. The palate fuses a thick texture, medium-light body, and a soft carbonation.

DrnkMcDermott (2872) - Downers Grove, Illinois, USA - FEB 8, 2015
Single bottle from Binny’s/ Bubblegum smell under the cap and into the glass. Slightly darker than most hefes, as if it was meant to be had in the fall and winter. Puffy hefe head. Some more bubblegum in the tongue, but behind it is a bit of wheat spice. Drinks pretty nice, although, yes, a bit hefty. Sweetness tends a bit on the saccharine side, but does not linger too long on the tongue.

Bottle at the brewpub. Slightly hazy light orange pour with no head. A bit of rotten banana and veggie. Not as bad as I just made it sound but not good either. Kind of flat. This is pretty bad.

vyvvy (4540) - Florissant, Missouri, USA - OCT 4, 2014
Pours hazy deep orange with a small white head. The aroma has banana, bubblegum, rich wheat, cream and hints of spices. It has a pretty full lush body for the style and its a bit sticky and has soft carbonation. The flavor starts with bubblegum, banana, cotton candy and cream. The finish is on the astringent side. Fair.

Light and malty with citrus, spice, and yeast. A bit light overall, definitely not feeling the higher alcohol content. Not bad, not memorable.

Sampler on tap at the Oak Park Micro Brew Review. Cloudy almost apricot white, very weiss banana aroma, no head, sweet flavor, a bit off. Heavy and thick.

[Tap] Cloudy straw colored pour with a copious amount of white foam. Aroma of wheat malts, clove and banana. Flavor includes banana, clove, bubblegum, nutmeg, vanilla and a good amount of sweet wheat malts. Pretty good body. High carbonation level. This is actually pretty good; definitely better than expected.

Tap at Wild Onion. Unfiltered deep orange brown. Respectable beige head. Rather well-executed Weiss, a little thicker and richer..on the maltier side. Banana clove balanced. Refreshing, orange tones.
