3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
[Tap] Cloudy straw colored pour with a copious amount of white foam. Aroma of wheat malts, clove and banana. Flavor includes banana, clove, bubblegum, nutmeg, vanilla and a good amount of sweet wheat malts. Pretty good body. High carbonation level. This is actually pretty good; definitely better than expected.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at Wild Onion. Unfiltered deep orange brown. Respectable beige head. Rather well-executed Weiss, a little thicker and richer..on the maltier side. Banana clove balanced. Refreshing, orange tones.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at Tokyo Pub. Pours hazy golden yellow with white head. Aromas of banana, clove, sweet malts. Flavors of sweet malts, banana, clove, and some bubblegum. Really thick and malty for a hefe. Poor example of style and beer overall.

Not too bad for a weizenbockish brew. Banana, clove, and bubble gum. For an american take on the style it isn’t horrendous.

Had at the brewpub. Decent hefeweizen. A little bolder than a standard hefeweizen but not a weizenbock. Medium levels of banana clove aroma. Decent but not great. Serving: Tap
