3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured out of can into a sniffer.
Aroma: Crisp, clean citrus. Much more of a mild hoppy smell than I expected.
Appearance: Small head when poured into a very clean glass. Golden in color with light lacing left behind.
Taste: Medium level of hops that are well pronounced after you take a drink. Hops start with floral and citrus but finish with resin and earth tones. Almost no alcohol bite.
Palate: Very smooth no bite to the alcohol, slightly viscous (in a good way).
Overall: Very nice beer with a clean crisp taste. Nice to drink and great smell to boot! It stands up to Hopslam and other DIPA’s I have had! Great job Wild Onion!

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz can from Blue Dog Lansdale. Poured a super muddy amber brown body under a smaller foamy light beige head. Aroma is pretty solid with lots of citrus hops, grapefruit rinds, troical fruits, mangos, bread crusts. The body is solid with stronger carbonation and a lingering bitter bite over a fuller mouthfeel, nice. Flavor of older oranges, light citrus rinds, bread, crusts and cereal. Good stuff.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A mild IPA. Reminded me of Dog fish 60 min.
On draft at Dog and Bull. Some nice floral, caramel malt and citrus notes. A tad thin in the body, but not a bad brew. Very easy to drink.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can from Tokyo Pub. Pours hazy dark orange with white head. Aromas of citrusy hops and caramel malts. Flavor of citrus, some hop bitterness, light spice, and caramel malts. Hops some hop bitterness, but lacks flavor and a malt bomb. Not really worth revisiting.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Medium sized off white head with fair retention and nice lacing. Gentle nose is spicey, citrusy with some pencil shavings. Medium bodied, lil oily, somewhat spritzy carbonation, hint metallic. Fairly dry malts with some melony notes, citrus and cedar notes, maybe some slight off notes, bandaid, phenols, something growing but still young, hmph. Dry finish with a not big enough bite. Can from ughsmash. Thanks man!

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
On tap......very oily in an unpleasant way, off balance finishing with loads of citrus taste. A beer which has too much of a lot of great ingredients but no direction. It has potential but needs refinement.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Hoppy aroma. Slight citrus flavor with a bit of spice leading to a bitter and hoppy finish. Not bad from a can.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz can from Armanetti’s. Pours a cloudy, amber-orange colored body with a finger-width, frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is big florals and slightly candied grapefruit pines with a sweeter caramel malt backing. Some breadiness to the malts with a touch of syrup as well as some pineapple. Flavor is slightly sticky sweet up front with a good amount of caramel and some breadiness. Lots of grapefruit and orange florals, candied pines, a light pineapple, and a touch of toast. Finishes dry, sweet, and resiny with a medium-high bitterness and some candied citrus-grapefruits. Lengthy aftertaste following a medium-full body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, a well hopped, slightly sweet DIPA that hides the alcohol well and stays balanced. Just a touch too sweet for me, but not bad.
