COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An intense Double IPA brewed for the "hopheads" of the world. This robust ale is so full of malt and hops that you can almost chew on it. Served in a snifter to bring out all of the nuances of malt, hop, and alcohol.

Nice foamy head over hazy honey-color body. Aroma of piney, flowery and citrusy hops, and heavy malt. Taste of firm bitterness increasing in mid palate. Some lemon notes, good balance towards the bitter side, long bitter finish but not nearly as bitter as I would have expected for the style.

12oz can-Dark amber, slight haze, head disappeared quickly after pouring it into a glass. Aroma had some sweet malt with mild hop. Very strong butterscotch flavor thoughout and I didn’t get a big hop burst as I was expecting.

Had it on tap at Loafers in Chicago, poured a nice hazy amber hue with a light head and no lacing, and a pleasant hop aroma. The taste is a smooth bitter hop caramel flavor.

Tasted from a 12oz. can. It poured a cloudy amber with a copper hue and white head that disapated quickly. Nice hop aroma with a bold hop taste and a bitter finish.

Malty, plenty of hops, yet it severely lacks refinement. Ends with some bite. Disappointing.

amber pour with a white head. Aroma of grass, floral hop notes, and a bit of tropical fruit. Resiny, bitter, a touch astringent. Decent.

12oz. can. Aroma of sweet, floral and fruity hop, with notes of caramel, sugary frosting, pineapple, grapefruit and orange. Cloudy medium orange-amber color, with a bit of the sediment poured, and a very fine, uneven head. Flavor profile is somewhat sweet and malty to start, more caramel noted as well as a certain sweet, bready aspect, turning a bit more fruity and citric towards midpoint, and finishing with a moderate dose of resinous hop bitterness and flavor. Not able to detect the alcohol here. Very smooth and low in carbonation, even a bit watery for the style, body is medium. I wasn’t too impressed with this but would try it again if I had the opportunity to sample it super-fresh on draft.

Draft at Pony. Pours an amber body with thin white lacing. Aroma is pretty muted overall, maybe some grapefruit and pine resin. Mouthfeel is medium to full with notes of sweet hop syrup, resin, lots of fruity malts - seems to be unbalanced for the most part.

Draught fro. habitat. Clear amber pour. Fruity citrus nose. Small white head. Grapwfruit more than resin. Purdy good.

Can pours amber with a white head that reduces to a lacing cap that coats my sn snifter. Nose or pine, grapefruit, and that cat piss. Taste is under balanced for the style imo. There is some bitterness, but malt swwetness starts and is eventually washed over by pine, flowers, and wet onion (no, this is not a pun or some jerked off joke). Body is solid.
