COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An intense Double IPA brewed for the "hopheads" of the world. This robust ale is so full of malt and hops that you can almost chew on it. Served in a snifter to bring out all of the nuances of malt, hop, and alcohol.

Can pours amber with a white head that reduces to a lacing cap that coats my sn snifter. Nose or pine, grapefruit, and that cat piss. Taste is under balanced for the style imo. There is some bitterness, but malt swwetness starts and is eventually washed over by pine, flowers, and wet onion (no, this is not a pun or some jerked off joke). Body is solid.

12oz can. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of citrusy, resiny, and floral hops with a good amount of caramel and pale malts. Flavor about the same with a good hoppiness. Average texture. A pretty good beer.

Location: Draft at 4th Ave Pub, 3/16/13

Aroma: This one has a pretty decent hop aroma, with some resin, citrus, and a bit of caramel
Appearance: This one pours a clearish golden-orange color with an off-white head
Flavor: Tastes as expected, mid-plus bitter, not the juiciest or cleanest hop profile, but a solid one
Palate: The body is medium, it has a pretty solid but not amazing mouthfeel, and a dry finish
Overall Impression: Overall, I thought this was a solid beer, but I didnít think this was a great example of the style. It certainly isnít a bad beer, but in this style itís kind of middling, and probably a little closer to the bottom than the top.

A hoppy double ipa that is really smooth. Pours light yellow. Tastes great for coming out of a can. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

It poured a hazy orange/amber color with a white head. The aroma was grapefruity, most likely because of the dry hopping. The taste was pretty hoppy, which dominates the flavor a little bit. Tasty.

Can from Mariís. Pours hazy light brown with a finger and a half of slightly off-white head that is sticky and has good retention. The aroma has big caramel notes, some citrus, some earthy hop notes. The taste has a medium sized bitter hit but is not drying on the tongue. There is a big caramel balance with a little citrus. If I had to guess, Iíd think Centennial hops are creating the big earthiness of the taste. Middle of the road.. nothing exciting but a pretty nice, dirty, earthy IPA.

Highly aromatic: floral, citrus, fruity, and earthy hops. Hop flavor is pine and resin like. High IBUs but very balanced with the malt. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz can poured into glass. Always jazzed to try new beers out of cans! This might have been a little old. Not a lot going on, aroma or flavor wise. The hop aroma was sort of dead, as was the floral grapefruit aspect. An easy drinking DIPA but Iíd love to try it again when itís fresh.

Part of a flight at Park Tavern. Deep orange color, sweet citrus aroma. The taste as other reviewers have also mentioned is quite unique for this style. Very rich flavor, very malty, and the hop profile was all sweet orange and honey, a liquid dreamsicle. Actually kind of liked it, with the caveat that i only had 3 oz. of it, may have been a bit too sweet if having a full bottle. Nice unique take overall.
