1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
12oz can-Dark amber, slight haze, head disappeared quickly after pouring it into a glass. Aroma had some sweet malt with mild hop. Very strong butterscotch flavor thoughout and I didnít get a big hop burst as I was expecting.

Poured from the can into my dadís antique 7oz. Old Style glass he stole from a local gin mill back in the day. Finished 5 of these bad boys in an hour, and have already alerted my bail bondsman on twitter to let him know there might be action tonight. This is a good looking, good tasting glass of beer, all the food groups are represented: hops, malt, fruit, alcohol, and slayer. Who could ask for anything more?!..

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Fairly murky orange/amber pour with an eggshell head that leaves a little lace. I get a lot of candied tropical fruit on the nose with some resin and a little caramel but itís all fairly subdued. More alive on the palate but the caramel has an offputting graininess to it and the fruit seems tired somehow. This can may be a little old.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz can. Pours a dark cloudy amber with a medium beige lasting head, some lacing. Aroma and taste is sweet caramel malt, pine citrus hops, some notes of orange, yeast moderate hops bitterness. Palate is a medium to full, moderate on the carbonation, a mild smoothness. Finish is sweet caramel malt, some citrus orange tones with moderates bitterness on the end. Has a good caramel malt background. A flavorfully good drinking, nice.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Appearance: The body is a murky chestnut with slightly red edges through it, an amber ale in appearance. The head is frothy and dense with a tan hue.
Aroma: The aroma is certainly hoppy, slightly piney and citrusy with some resinous qualities. The malt base shows also adding some sweetness in the way of caramel and slight toastiness and some fruity esters.
Taste: The flavor is an enjoyable moderately to aggressively bitter flavor of pine with some spiciness. Slightly fruity sweetness from the hops comes through giving orange flavors. The malt base is matching the bitterness almost providing a caramel and nutty base thatís soft and pleasant. The beer is very soft, but in a good way. The flavors weave in and out.
Palate: Soft and full bodied.
Overall: Iím not in love with this, but itís a competent imperial IPA. I enjoy this more than my rating indicates. It doesnít perform well under scrutiny, but it drinks nicely and would make a great campfire beer for late at night if youíre not driving.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Picked up a can while visiting Philly. Pours hazy dark orange with white head. Nose is citrus, caramel. Flavor follows with some spice, and a bitter finish. Not a great example of a DIPA; not balanced.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can. Murky deep orange pour with a small head. Nice pine and citrus aroma and taste. Carbonation is a bit light. Slightly syrupy. Flavorful.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can. Hazy orange red colour that leaves a decent lace. Aroma is all about the hops with pine cones, some pungent earthyness and some citrus burst with little malts. On the palate I find it drier than expected although it does sport a bit of sweetness, flavours are hoppy bitter with a nice malty backbone. It is a hops celebration but lacks a little bit of depth.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Average aroma of hops...more on the piney side. Deep amber color...tan head dissipates quickly. Bitterness up front...not well balanced. Malt tries to come through but drowned out by a bland, tasteless bitterness. Finishes with not enough sweet balance. Mouthfeel is oily and thick. Very plain and uninteresting.

I thought that this was a well balanced beer with some nice citrus undertones.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
From can, drank from can when I had some friends over a few nights ago. So, rating a bit from memory, take that into account. Floral hop-happy aroma with mild carbonation. Biggest impression this beer left was a long, alcohol-y aftertaste that I didnít recall as too pleasant; relatively high ABV but the alcohol taste stayed with me a little longer than I prefer. To me left an oily sensation on the palate. Decent overall but didnít really have what I was looking for.
