COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An intense Double IPA brewed for the "hopheads" of the world. This robust ale is so full of malt and hops that you can almost chew on it. Served in a snifter to bring out all of the nuances of malt, hop, and alcohol.

Taster at the Blarney Stoneís Solstice Fest, Oak Forest. Cloudy amber color with a fruity hop smell. Simply tastes quite full of IPA goodness, but also plenty of malts to make for a pleasing balance. Lots of pine and a bit of apricot in the hop palate.

Poured from a can, cloudy, dirty orange with a big sudsy pale yellow head. Aroma is grassy with some citrus and malt. Flavor is malty, a hint of orange. This has a nice creamy feel. Iíll buy this one again.

American barleywine like aroma. Appearance is a cloudy orange color with an offwhite head. Flavor again is more like an American barleywine than a DIPA. Mouthfeel is medium high with medium low carbonation. Overall, this beer is an American barleywine not a DIPA. The beer also tastes old and oxidized. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Grabbed a 4-pack of cans while in St. Louis this week. Pours a dark, cloudy amber-orange with a tall two finger off white head that leaves plenty of lacing. Aroma of dank citrus hops, caramel malts, grass and pine. Taste is big on the dank citrus hops that are evenly balanced with big caramel malts. Fair amount of boozy alcohol on the backend as well. Getting more of the citrus and hop resin in the finish. Medium to full body, sticky texture, average carbonation. Overall a very good DIPA. Nothing really that makes it stand out from other DIPAs out there, but still quite tasty and well done!

Pours slightly hazy, frothy white head with good retention, carbonation good, slightly tropical or fruity, very light on the boozy flavor for the high abv. still something about it that is not for me

12 oz. can purchased at The Beer Shoppe or $3.95. A tad pricey but worth the sample for sure. Cloudy Amber color with fast diminishing head that leaves very little after it settles. Aroma is rather nice, heavy with resin, pine qualities with a spicy rye (or at least spicy) malt note.

Flavor starts with a moderate level of malt and citrus backed by a chewy yeast body. The chewy yeast gives way to a rather bold pine. The resin pine isnít real big at first, it seems to stack up after you work your way though the glass. No date is displayed any place on the can, yet itís clear to me it on the fresher side. If you find this on draft or fresh can donít pass it up. Tasty

12oz can from Crossroads. Pours a murky ice tea color with the smallest head of off white foam. Aroma of old citrus, fruity hops, and lots of caramel maltiness. Taste of sweet caramel, lots of fruity hops, some faint pine, wet hops, and rotted oranges. Really sweet. Meh

Had this one straight out of the can. Potent aroma, even without a pour. Hoppy, piney, sweet. Medium body with a silky and sweet mouthfeel. Hoppy finish. Pretty strong.

12 Oz can. Hazy orange with a thick, off-white head. Hop dominant aromas of orange and resin, some barnyard funk. Flavor is malty sweet up front, but then lots of hops. Transitions to long, very bitter linger. Full body with a thick mouthfeel and average carbonation. Overall, not so well-balanced, and hop character, while very present, does not have many distinctive features.
