Pour is a orange with a large white head. Aroma is a nice, lush citrus hop. Flavor does not live up to the aroma. Hops are there but way weak. There is a more matly backbone in the flavor that does give the beer a nice earhtyness. This was ok and worthy of a pick up.

UPDATED: JUN 7, 2011 12oz can, Hazy orange-tan with a steady, foamy, off-white head. Cool, astringent hop aroma, quite aromatic and nice. Quite hop-forward, wouldn’t be out of place at a West Coast brewpub. Well balanced still, with a nice toasty malt backbone. Clean, bold, and true to style. Well done.

Can pours orange-gold with a white head. Aroma is extremely vegetal with notes of white and green onion smothering a hint of caramel. Flavor shows basically the same. Overall body is moderate, sticky, and finishes with spicy vegetal hops. Ever had the urge to drink an onion?

Orange with a small head. Light aroma of malt and oniony hop. Light flavor of sweet malt and vegetal hop on the finish. Thin. Whatever.

Gold pour, white head. Onions, hops, malt, boring crapass aroma. Flavor is onions, hops, malt, light honey...boring...not bad...but NOT good either. MEH.

This beer has a big soapy off white head that leaves some sticky lacing. It is cloudy golden with some shadowy stringy stuff floating like a lava lamp. A nice aroma of sweet citrus fruit especially oranges along with some sticky pine. The flavor suffers because nothing really steps to the forefront. That did improve as the beer warmed. There is some biscuit, some fairly complex citrus fruit. The finish brings out just a hint of peppery spice.

Can. Hazy dark golden pour with a thin head. Thin head. Dull taste all around. Hope the pallet doesn’t last.

12oz can. Pours a very cloudy, orange-copper colored body with a finger-width, frothy, off-white head that dissipates quickly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma has a good amount of floral oranges and other citruses with a solid caramel malt backing. Some light pines, a touch of resin, and a few candy grapefruit notes. Flavor has more of a lemony-orange zest to it. Still maintains a solid caramel backing with a good amount of florals and a light pine. Finishes with a light-moderate bitterness that dries this nicely along with a touch of resin, toasted toffee, and a zesty caramel. Light-medium body with a smooth, soft, moderate carbonation. Overall, a solid pale ale. Nice, zesty citric flavors with some pines and florals to the hops along with a balancing caramel malt. Not bad at all.

First beer in two plus months. Can about a month old. Opened without a noise of carbonation. Poured a dark orange with foamy head, no lace at all. Oily first taste with little to no hop presence, more of a flat malty taste presence. Finish is oily too. Didn’t care too much about this one. Glad to be back!

Pours a thick, cloudy orange with a creamy beige head. Nice floral/pine aroma. Very hoppy. But that’s where it ends. This is hopped up water, nothing more. Very thin, water mouth feel. The aftertaste is bitter but it dies away immediately. This doesn’t taste bad, but it’s overall consistency is very unsatisfying. It really falls off at the end.
