Dirty Hazy Muddy Brown, Big Foamy White Head, Good Lacing. Mild Pumpkin Aroma. Pumpkin, Cinnamon. Watery with dry cinnamon tingly finish. Might be my first Pumpkin Ale. Interesting. Harvest / Halloween Season is upon us. There are so many Pumpkin Beer Choices in stores, that Iíll definitely try more. While Iím not really a fan of pumpkins or cinnamon, beer driven curiosity wins. Worth a Try. Plus, it is local brewer, so I need to add another place to visit on my TO DO list...

Can. Pours a deep ambery-orange, medium head decent retention and lacing. Nose is pumpkin, hints of pie spice, whiff of malt. Mouth is medium bodied, pumpkin, pie spice, cereal, cake. One of the better pumpkin beers Iíve tasted, but Pumking is still the reigning mad overlord of pumpkin beers.

UPDATED: SEP 27, 2013 Dark orange, light head, little lace. Hazed. Decent froth. Aroma is some generic pumpkin spice more of a nutmeg/allspice maybe,a bit of breadiness along with some vegetal/earthy tones.Slight orange. Taste is mild with citrus, spices, mineral, orange. Its kinda like an octoberfest/blonde mix but with spice to describe the type. Medium light bodied, citrus, mineral finish, slight earthy clove in the end wich im not that fond of. Pretty sessionable beer overall, mildly festive with the spice. Good pumpkin beer, fits in pretty average maybe a bit above avererage, nothing offensive. Definatly would be a party crowd pleaser, easy drinking, nothing over the top, festive and pretty decent. I could bang out a sixer of these if I felt up to it on a holloween party if I felt like it worthy of sharing also.Like the design too.Im liking it more I try this.

Pour is a dark orange with a large white head. Aroma is burning at first then comes a slight pumpkin. Flavor is slight pumpkin and a small amount of spice. If you like some pumpkin beers but donít like the ones that are overly spice heavy than this is for you. Pumpkin and spice but nothing over the top which I kinda prefer in these beers.

Pours a medium hazy amber with a very thin white head. The aroma is mostly pumpkin as it is advertised. Additionally, there is cinnamon and nutmeg. The taste is pretty much the same. It is mostly pumpkin and nutmeg. Cinnamon flavors serve as undertones, and there is some yeastiness in here as well. Aftertaste is pumpkin and lasts a little while. The body is light to medium, more of a thin texture, along with softer carbonation. This one is ok for a pumpkin beer. It tastes more like a beer so I could find myself drinking more than just one, unlike many of these. However, these pumpkin beers usually donít do it for me.

5.4% alc and 10 bucks sixer cans. One of the coolest looking beer cans ever. Pours a faded orange, cloudy, almost no head. This is the first beer ever that tastes flat even though I can see the bubbles. Solid Notes of metal and sockwater. Aroma of an alley in Chicago after a rainstorm. Mild hint of spoonfull of pumkin pie stirred in to your weakest value light beer. Disturbingly disappointing for anyone who likes pumkin beer or even beer period.

12 oz can into a pint glass. Pours a hazy burnt orange color with a thin cap of dirty white foam. Smell is of pumpkin flesh and the typical spices of cinnamon, nutmeg and all spice. Taste is of a bland brown ale with a touch of caramel malt and light nutmeg. Incredibly bland and watery. I understand this beer is not fresh, but its in a can and shouldnít be this faded. Under carbed. This is just so underwhelming and boring.

Pours a cloudy copper orange color with a fluffy white head. From the side it almost looks like a slice of pumpkin pie! Not too strong of a scent but pumpkin and spices are evident. Has a decent pumpkin and spice flavor to it. My one complaint is the texture, itís a little too watery in comparison to other top selling pumpkin beers. Because of itís lighter texture it does make for very quick and easy drinking. Enjoyable for any fall activity outdoors!

Can:   Amberish, not bright but dirty, fairly hazy, thin sudsy off-white head, little lacing.   Spicy nose, cinnamon and nutmeg, but also has a spiced apple aspect to it as well.   Very unique.   Similar tongue, starts out with cinnamon and nutmeg but then also develops this spicy apple aspect.   Reminds me of a very spicy apple pie.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   This one has more in common with a spicy apple pie than it does a pumpkin pie, making for an interesting beer.   I prefer pumpkin, but I would take apple from time to time.

12 oz. can poured into a cervoise glass. Pours a cloudy light amber with orange hues capped with a white, pillowy three finger head. Abundant, splotchy lacing along the side of the glass. Nutmeg, pumpkin and spice, and light toffee and caramel on the nose. Opens with nutmeg and cinnamon, joined by pumpkin, lightly sweet caramel malt and finishes smooth with more spice and lightly sweet toffee notes. Lighter side of medium bodied, moderate level of gentle carbonation. Smooth, slightly creamy mouthfeel. Very pleasant. One of the better pumpkin beers Iíve had recently and definitely one of the better offerings Iíve had from this brewery.
