My problem with this beer is the appearance. The flavor is really good. I like the spicy pumpkin finish and would agree that it is one of the more prominent pumkins on the market. Pours VERY thin with little to NO lacing. Aroma of pumpkin spices and lightly earthy mostly spicy cinnamon, pumpkin and nutmeg. The taste is of pumpkin spices (cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg) and some earthy pumpkin with light sweet malt ... a decent little pumpkin ale finishes dry and spicy.

Pours orange with a white head. Aroma was spicey nutmeg, clove, pumpkin and some nuttyness. Taste was spicey and sweet. This was a nice easy drinking pumpkin beer...As it warmed the pumpkin flavors came out more

Pours a slightly hazy pumpkin orange with 1 finger head and good retention. Aroma is very subtle but dominated by nutmeg but with hints of cinnamon, pumpkin, and caramel; little to no hop bitterness on nose. Tastes like a watered-down Pumking. Decent flavors hint at gingerbread, graham cracker, and pumpkin. Not bad. Body is medium, frothy, thin-ish, and finishes dry and spicy. Overall, if there ever was a pumpkin beer that you could reasonably session, this is it.

Pours amber with nice notes of pumpkin spice. More pure pumpkin flavors show up with a nice malt background.

12oz can. Poured a cloudy golden color with a large sized off white head. Aromas of lots of spices and pumpkin. Tastes of the same but a little bit thinner. Would like to have seen more pumpkin.

Found in St. Louis on a 99 cent rack, sold as cans. None of them I have seen in my hometown which is only about 30 minutes away from this brewer. A very hazy copper brew pours out with a very fast fading white head. Nose of the brew is very spicy with a light cinnamon, strong nutmeg and light allspice. Flavor is a spice bomb. All spices detected in the nose are about 10x greater in the flavor. Very overpowering and there is no "beer" qualities detected. Body is very light with very low carbonation. I feel this beer is highly attenuated and with the strong spices, makes it feel way too light. Not a beer I would recommend to folks.

Poured to a Czech-pils glass with a clear, orange/gold color, modest, off white, bubbles and cream head that diminished rather quickly to a ring and film, leaving some ribbons and spots of lacing. The aroma was biscuity, with perfumy notes of pie spices as nutmeg, light cinnamon, ginger, and light, fruit-like sweetness. The flavor added some moderate hop bitterness, light, syrupy sweetness, with body that was on the lighter side of medium, and light dryness to the finish. Drinkable, but typical seasonal offering to help with the leave raking, which has now turned to snow removal.

A can made for kids. Pours an orange amber, clear glowing, with a tall frothy white head. Aroma is fairly nice, pumpkin pie spice, tea, sweet and sour malts, lots of clove. Flavor follows, big clove, cinnamon, seems like some real pumpkin in here, sour maltiness, light bit of hops, like pumpkin PBR, gritty finish with a bit of alcohol. Watery medium bodied, chalky with soft larger carbonation.

Can from 17thFloor. Thanks! Not sure on the appearance, as I drank it from the can. It did have nutmeg and a hint of clove, but it was mostly crystal malt. Reminded me more of an amber ale than pumpkin ale, though some of the spice came on later. Not fantastic, but not too bad either.
