3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Don’t judge this against normal grain beers, but rather more as a lambic or gueuze. Using that baseline, this works very well. Deep red amber with a long-lasting 1/4" head, and splotches of lace. The flavor is like that of a framboise, sweet (like "Big Red" soda), but with a nice bittersweet finish. In its way, it works well, especially as a dessert brew. Not "usual," but highly drinkable.

Bottle. Raspberry and light malt aroma. Hazy ruby red with moderate head. Sweet raspberry and bitter alcohol flavor. A perfect beer for rating #5150.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Calling this a beer is almost a travesty. While it was fruity and refreshing it almost tasted like kool-aid. Very sweet.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A fruit beer trying to be something that tastes like a fruit wine. If it is a quick buzz that has an easy taste that you maybe looking for then this is the beer as well as its cousin wild blue which I feel taste better.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
UPDATED: JUL 5, 2012 The aroma is artificial but fruity with raspberry candy and not much else. The appearance is blood red with a small head. The taste is like the aroma but not foul just fake. The palate is average. Overall a sad beer but drinkable, barely.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle, and another InBev rating to get me further ahead of Porter Pounder. Hooray! Pours turbid magenta with 2-finger frothy pink head. Nose is raspberry Jolly Ranchers, some earthy and hop notes. Tastes very sweet, fruity, with a sweet raspberry flavor predominating.

1.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Can’t recall where this bottle came from. Pours rather cherry pink with a creamy pink head. Aroma is quite fresh raspberry. Med body more or less. Something goes wrong with the fluid. That nice aroma is replaced by some kind of roasted malt lager. The raspberry is just muddled by that. Not as nasty as Pink Killer, but it certainly belongs in that category.

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
12 oz bottle: Aroma is straight up artificial raspberry notes nothing really more. Appearance is a weird soda pop red color with a slightly pinkish head that lingers. Taste is big on raspberries and some malt liquor twang to it. Palate is very carbonated with an aftertaste of artificial raspberries. Overall, Not that good at all. Cheers!

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
12oz twist-off bottle, red cap w/ hound dog. Very strong aroma. Scent of raspberry juice, smells sweet and very tart. Bright ruby color, with pink fizz ring on surface. Tastes of dry raspberry juice, a touch of tart hidden by syrup. Creamy texture, very little carbonation. I find this hard to be a beer. Too strong for a fruit beer, hard to finish.
