Commercial Description:
Dark brown with ruby highlights, mild aromas of chocolate and grain, a semi-sweet palate with notes of roasted malt, and a rounded finish. A flavorful beer but low in both calories and alcohol.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of finely sized clear colored bubbles that were fully diminished and left behind a transparent softly carbonated light brown colored body and a poor lacing. The mild aroma was nutty. The crisp smooth mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start mediumly tingly at the finish nutty aftertaste. The mild flavor contained notes of hops and brown malt. A decent one that I would consider buying again.

On tap at the Wild River Brewpub. Pours a dark copper with a smooth off-white head. Buttery sweet caramel nose with a light toastiness. This was a very smooth light bodied beer, but had a nice caramel sweetness up front that was balanced out very nicely with a very lightly hopped finish.

Sampled draught at Wild River Pub, Grant’s Pass
Amber mahogany color with light lacing. Nose of wet caramel. Flavor is tangy & fruity, buttery & rich. Nice body but a bit of diacetyl. The Bottle really sucked of this, 4-2-3-1-6, but the draft rating should stand.

Mahogany with spotty head and lacing. Caramel and some roast in the nose. Walnuts and toffee. Bitter hops come out in the flavors with more caramel and roasted malts. Not as nutty with some alcohol apparent. Sticky palate with a good malt finish.

On tap in Wild River Pizza Company and Brewing (Grants Pass). Dark brown color with very small head. Nice nutty flavor with sweet finish. Very low hop flavor. But pretty good.
