Bottle. Lots of biscuits and some toffee, seasoned with zesty US hop notes. Lemon, lime, orange zest, all mixed together. Balanced taste, with neither the malts nor the hops dominating. Not too much hops used for flavour and bitterness, and given additionally the slightly earthy finish, this sessionable beer has an English soul. Very good.

Bottle. Clear yellow golden body with white top. Nice lacing here and there. Aroma; fresh caramel malts, lemon, sour fresh plums, grassy wet hops, notes of fruit tea. Taste; citrus hops, fresh juicy resin, sharp but fresh roasted malts, dark barley malts, grapefruit peel, hints of ash. Finishes with hops still alive, and sometimes roasted barley malts kicking in. Alright body for the style and abv, soft carbonation. Fresh citrusy-ashy APA with fine label and bottle, should be continued. Nice pal to dinners, snacks, sports, and even bisquits. A servicable beer that I remember being more interesting than this on draught at the Old Joint Stock in Brum. Bitter, some citrus but it has more of the golden ale type character for me with a bit more hoppy punch. There is so much more interesting beer than this, but I would like to try it on draught again for comparison.

Nice drink. More reminiscent of an APA than an AIPA in my opinion. Bit like a poor copy of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, not to say itís not drinkable. Carbonation was a little high and taste improved as beer warmed and flattened. If it wasnít for the slightly metallic after-taste it would be pretty good. For the price and availability, canít grumble.

500 ml bottle. Clear golden colour, thick white head. Aroma of citrus fruits, notes of grass and caramel. The flavour is grapefruity, with malty notes and a bitter, herbal finish. A little thin on the palate, but otherwise OK.

Poured light amber with an off white head. Aroma of citrus and caramel malt. Medium body, flavour is moderately sweet tropical fruit, lightly bitter. Excellent balance, lovely session beer.

Cask @ Kingís Cross station. Pours clear golden with this frothy head. Hoppy aroma, sweet malty taste followed by a heavy hop hit

decent head after pouring the beer into a glass but vanishes quickly, rather weak aroma, fresh golden yellow color, taste is like the aroma = pretty weak, slight sweetness and some bitterness, like a watery grapefruit soda with some honey
