3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 dresden (140) - Saskatchewan, CANADA - DEC 16, 2011
I have to admit, I was pretty drunk already when I had it, but it was memorable in the sense that I didn’t really enjoy it much. Its certainly not on the level of the modern american IPA. Not much aroma, same goes for taste.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 gramity (520) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - MAR 25, 2011
Poured a copper/amber color with about 1-2 fingers of foamy white head. The head retained quite well and left decent lacing on my tulip glass.
I had a difficult time picking much out of the aroma as it seemed far too subdued for an IPA. I could detect some floral and citrusy hops and a light nutty malt.
The taste was also a little understated when compared to what I am used to with an IPA but what I did taste was quite good. The taste was a bit earthy and grassy with the citrus tones failing to really shine through. It was medium on the bitter scale and the hops in the finish are enjoyable but, again, a little weak.
The mouthfeel was smooth and the finish a little dry.
Overall - this is a good IPA but perhaps they should embrace the style a little more and stop being so shy with their hop profile.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 rosenbergh (3140) - Helsinki, FINLAND - AUG 7, 2010
341 ml bottle. From Calgary, AB, Canada.
Clear copper colour with small white head.
Rather mild sweet sugary aroma with fruity hops, cereal (like in all WR beers) and malt sweetness. Short hoppy flavour with sweetish fruits and malt. Short and mild bitterness that fades quickly.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 thb (438) - Alberta, CANADA - APR 11, 2010
Pours a reddish-amber with thin but enduring head. Nice floral citrusy aroma. Tasty sourdough yeastiness too. Bright, lively beer. Good amount of carbonation
Long, bitter, hoppy finish.
Perfectly pleasant beer. Reasonably interesting, but unremarkable and fairly one dimensional.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 bulldogops (311) - Alberta, CANADA - JAN 18, 2010
Bottle. 6%. Clear dark amber pour with a weak, white head that bubbles away to a ring. Aroma is strong with hops, roasted malt, and is quite earthy. Taste is more of the same, dry hops and roast malts dominating the flavour, with a hint of caramel. Finish is dry, but balanced and satisfying. Delicious.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 Diogène (990) - Mirabel, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 16, 2009
341 ml bottle. Dark golden with a medium foamy off white head. Aroma is earthy with hops, sweet malt, toasted malt, metal and leather. Not as much hops aroma as expected. Flavor is earthy with caramel, toasted malt, british hops, Bitter finish Fizzy carbonation (too much for my liking of the style) medium body.
