341 ml bottle. Dark golden with a medium foamy off white head. Aroma is earthy with hops, sweet malt, toasted malt, metal and leather. Not as much hops aroma as expected. Flavor is earthy with caramel, toasted malt, british hops, Bitter finish Fizzy carbonation (too much for my liking of the style) medium body.

Not much to say about this one other than that its disapointing. A very bland and definitely not exciting beer. It has some, and i emphasize SOME hops, but, sigh, not enough.

UPDATED: NOV 5, 2009 Canít go into detail because itís been a while, but this isnít a particularly exciting IPA, itís just a good, reliable one. Very drinkable.

Industrial Park Ale... Safe level of hopping, but lacks fruit/malt to really balance, leaving it a bit dry and bitter in the finish. Good beer, but leaves me wanting more of everything.

6 pack bought in Canmore Alberta. What can I say...itís a decent IPA but nothing about it lives up to the "bigger is better" Alberta mythos. The province might be new to the craft brew scene but I would have expected something a little more assertive, more ground breaking. Itís a decent IPA but really no challenger to better offerings from B.C. like Hophead and Phillips.

341 ml bottle. Thanks to Kira for sharing. Small bubbly beige head that mostly diminished. Fair display of lacework. Clear amber color. Quite malty aroma with caramel, toasted malt and grainy nose. Over the palate came liquorish, peach, citrus and some fruity notes. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and dry texture. Moderated bitter and sweet flavor in balance. Smooth light dry citrus bitter finish.

Foggy orange pour with live yeast sediment. Hoppy aroma. Fat hoppy taste upfront. Sweet hops balance out the whole taste. Finish is solid and doesnít dry out. Very good!

Bottle courtesy of savvy1982. Pours copper with a white head. Smells of caramel, some tea. Tastes of earth, spice, some pepper. Decent.

"Crystal clear copper body with a tall long lasting rocky cap. Cold dusty aroma, citrusy hops that come across light, there is also some hoarse, Yes I smell hoarse. Smell be good but poor for an IPA. Bitterness with no real flavor is the impression that I get. Medician, mild citrus, faint wood, no real malt character to speak of at all. Itís a highly drinkable brew because it so light, I could pound this all day long just for a IPA this is bad."

Poured out a small sized light tan head, leaves some spotty lacing and has thin retention. Brew is slightly hazy and orangy/brown. Aroma is off but not bad. Has a powdered juice crystal scent with some oversweet cirtus, grass and butterscotch. Taste is not bad either but misses the target. I find that I feel the need for more hops on some sips, then get a good dose on others. Fruitiness (lemon and orange??) and the noticable lightly toasted malts are blended good enough. Light to light-medium bodied, has a good swish. Sticks to your mouth quite a bit and does have a lengthy bitter aftertaste that hides. Very drinkable beer. More on the soft side and a decent alternative for hopheads that feel other IPAís are overkill on the bitterness. If I saw this on tap somewhere Iíd get it for sure. Below average doesnít always mean that a beer sucks, just that if I had 10 IPAís this one probally wouldnít break even. Iíll buy this again.
