Bottle, brought back from Canada by Jim - thanks! Pours clear amber with a small white head and some lacing. Aroma is citrus (orange/grapefruit), spruce and pine. Flavor is the same, mildly sweet with earthy notes and a bit of metal. Finish is lightly bitter.

341ml bottle was named "Industrial Park Ale" when I first tried it and pours a pale amber color with a finger of white head that leaves some spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma is grapefruit and caramel with some floral notes. Taste is grapefruit hop bitterness with an underlying caramel malty sweetness. A nicely balanced brew with a medium body and adequate carbonation. Not quite as nice as some of the IPA’s from our neighbors to the South, but still a satisfactory brew that deserves a taste.

Bottle - 341ml. Hazy amber body with an average white creamy head. Sharp hoppy aroma with grapefruit hints. Its strong hoppy taste carries grapefruit and citrusy notes. Ends with a long, robust bitter finish. Very enjoyable IPA.

UPDATED: FEB 13, 2013 Pint glass from draft. No head and served a bit too cold, but nursed to a reasonable temp to review. A crystal clear color of gold with no head. Nice mild aroma with a hint of citrus and flower. Taste is overly bitter up front with no great flavor profile. Not bad, but wouldn’t order unless it was the only IPA. If it tasted like it smelled they would have a winner.

Bottle thanks to my FIL: Poured a murky dirty brown with a tan color head. Aroma is light hops and caramel malt. Taste is a up front hops that subsides to reveal a nice caramel malt. There is some more metallic hops in the backside finish.

I have to admit, I was pretty drunk already when I had it, but it was memorable in the sense that I didn’t really enjoy it much. Its certainly not on the level of the modern american IPA. Not much aroma, same goes for taste.

Poured a copper/amber color with about 1-2 fingers of foamy white head. The head retained quite well and left decent lacing on my tulip glass. I had a difficult time picking much out of the aroma as it seemed far too subdued for an IPA. I could detect some floral and citrusy hops and a light nutty malt. The taste was also a little understated when compared to what I am used to with an IPA but what I did taste was quite good. The taste was a bit earthy and grassy with the citrus tones failing to really shine through. It was medium on the bitter scale and the hops in the finish are enjoyable but, again, a little weak. The mouthfeel was smooth and the finish a little dry. Overall - this is a good IPA but perhaps they should embrace the style a little more and stop being so shy with their hop profile.
