COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
White Shadow refers to the unique magic that happens when we combine two great styles the refreshing spiciness of a Belgian style wheat beer with the bold hopiness of a North American IPA. Our White IPA is brewed with Pilsner malt, wheat malt and oats, and spiced with sweet orange peel, corinader and chamomile. A serious charge of Cascade and Columbus hops give the beer a nice citrusy bitterness. A Belgian yeast strain is left unfiltered to lend notes of clove and bitter fruit to the flavour, and a shadow to the golden hue. Because wild things can happen in the shadows.

Bottle poured into a pint glass. I first tried this at a beer tasting festival and wanted to try it again. Ours straw yellow with fluffy white head. Nose has citrus, grass, and some pepper. Taste is smooth and refreshing. I really like this one! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This is a really delicious white IPA. Tons of flavour, all the hops and citrus of a top notch IPA and some nice spices/pepper, coriander, orange zest etc from a Belgian. Really good!!

Thanks to Reimer for this. Pours a cloudy light gold with a small white top and good lacing. Taste is light orange zest with wheat and solid carbonation. Nice citrus hop bitterness although moderate. Very refreshing.

Pours a cloudy pale yellow, a large dense white head leaving a bit of lace. Aroma is sweet honey like notes, zesty orange peel, coriander, and bready wheat. Flavour is much of the same, citrus, zesty orange, lemon, mild-med bitterness, mild sweet honey like, wheat, and some coriander.

Pours a hazy yellowish with a nice frothy white head and some lace. Aroma of lemon, pepper, coriander, orange zest and floral esters. Taste is lemon zest, citrus, coriander, some spicy pepper notes and a smooth bitterness on the finish. Bit low on the ibus to be an ipa however it is very well balanced throughout and nice and refreshing to drink.

I would say this is much more of a strong Pale Ale rather than an IPA. The wheat and hops really shine, to me it seems like they added a bit of Brett. Really smooth, hoppy, balanced with a dry fruity, wheaty finish. Very intersting and under appreciated. Lovely.

Clear, pale straw yellow. Solid inch of pillowy head. Initial whiff is very northwest IPA - lots of citrus, pine, hint of tropical fruit. Hint of a peppery, earthy yeast. Taste shows a lot more belgian stuff - more dirt, less citrus. Dry, puckery finish. Taste is honestly a little...missing.

Bottle, shared with Steve. Very hazy orange gold with a thick off white head that collapses into rocky flotsam leaving curtains of lace. Very spicy profile, lots of coriander, floral, light citrus. Lighter body, very low bitterness. An excellent Belgian ale, but not enough bitterness to qualify as an IPA in my books. Still very enjoyable.

650ml brown bottle. Golden with a very light haze. Fat white head and patchy lacing. Nose has wheat, grain, lemon, corinader and mild spice. Taste has wheaty notes, mild spice notes. Finishes with light hops and spice, distant floral notes, a bit of late citrus and lingering grassy hop flavour. Lightish bodied with average carbonation. A bit mild overall.

8 oz on draught at Beer Revolution Hazy golden-yellow with a foamy frothy head, even in the mini-shooter. Aroma is more of a wit-bier, citrus, coriander, clove. Mouthfeel clean, low-medium carbonation, no alcohol notes detected. Palate has a hoppy bite tempering the yeasty, herbal floral kick. Light on the hops, but still worthy of the PA nomenclature. Not bad
